You have got to be kidding. And hey thanks. I didnt call your party freaking perverts for their weird ideas on how women cant get pregnant if they were really raped, how women who use contraception are skanks, or any of the other many crazy conservative ideas spoken this last year. In fact I didnt mention any party or political persuasion at all. Leave it up to paranoid conservatives to jump to irrational conclusions. I am out of here till I get the armor back up to deal with you conservatives again.

These are some crazy politicians ideas and they are just that. Crazy. NO person who has been raped, molested or abused is guilty of any sin. There certainly is rape and anyone that denies that is flat out wrong. Dress, attractiveness, how hard a person fights back is immaterial. Rape is not about sex or how hard you can fight.

I think they are both inappropriate. :) If the husband really wants to get into photography then perhaps a class in how to set up and conduct a photography business might be in order. It takes more than an expensive camera and shooting talent.

I just dont get how they are ok. There is clear sexual intent so how it is appropriate to get people out of the marriage involved? Does anyone believe they are planning on putting the photographs on the living room wall? Maybe some guys are ok with some other guy taking photos of their wife semi nude. My husband was furious and hurt that his first wife did that. The OP's husband is behaving in a rather expensive way to see real life nude/semi women. My gosh it is an oldtime way to con girls and women. Hand out the photographers card to pretty women or girls to get them into a private room to have a 'fun' session. Using facebook is just a new version of the business cards. I would not trust him an inch. Sorry for being so suspicious but the situation does not met any kind of criteria for trust.

And? My husbands first wife did this and sent him a photo while he was at sea in the Navy. Instead of being happy all he wondered is who did the photo. Besides the wife of the photographer, perhaps thought ought to be given to the spouse or SO of the client. I just have trouble seeing any good side to this at all. If you want an art shot of a scantily clad lady then hire a model. Or would that then make it pornography?

If he is going to take these sort of photos, which I agree is not something I would be happy about, then he needs an assistant. Perhaps an elderly lady. :) Or the bishop. A man in a room alone with sexy undressed ladies is not appropriate. Even if he was a eunuch.

No one has a right to tell you that your mental or health issue is just due to your lifestyle. These can be caused from any number of problems, from genetics, damage, illness, diet, stress, etc. So many things. NO one plan or 'cure' works for everyone not even for the same, apparent, issue. It is rather egotistical to think otherwise. For issues like anxiety it makes sense to try common sense ideas first but if they dont work then a trained mental health person can do wonders. If meds are prescribed and you dont want to take them forever then work with a therapist to deal with the cause, while working to the goal of being anxiety and med free. .

I doubt the desire to keep mementos will ease after 2 kids. It didnt after 8. In moving etc I have few of them left but each brings back great memories. I feel like if you have room for them keep whatever you want. Papers pretty thin after all. 40 years from now they may not be interested in them but they will be interested that you didnt care to save them.

I cannot sing but I like to sing from the hymn book. Singing often feels more like a prayer to communicate with God. Anyway it almost always makes me feel better.

Have you considered that you may have misunderstood what he said or meant? Sometimes when we are upset we may only hear part of whats said so we misunderstand.

Why would anyone leave a church they know is the church founded by Jesus Christ, Himself? My grandfather left the church over being insulted, or so he thought. He finally realized his mistake but did a lot of damage while he was antimormon. I never want to be in such a self made hell. The main reason is as Pam says. Even beforeI was allowed to be baptized I always knew the church was the right church. I have never had any thought of leaving it. Not for a second. Its ironic because many people I know, including brothers, etc. think I have taken up the ways of the world because I am not in the 'right' political party. If any of you ever doubt it let me clear that up right now. I know the church is true. I know in the depths of my soul. Our Father in Heaven loves us, me included, so much that He has given us a prophet and other leaders to aid us in our walk through this life. I know that when I die that my sons and my father will be there waiting to greet me along with all the loved ones who have died before me. I know that when I am sad and depressed and want to just give up that He will comfort me and let me know I am here for good reasons, both for myself and for others. I believe, absolutely, in the Plan of Salvation. With that plan all is explained. I never have doubted even in my sins.

I have exceedingly dry skin. What I do is first off, make my own soap. One to clean and one to moisturize. The cleaning one I am using now has coconut oil in it. The moisturizing one has coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, palm oil. This is lye soap from scratch. Oddly the additives etc in other soaps just put a nasty film on the skin and it is not moisture. Before I found a lye source recently, I used Bio-Oil one of my daughters got me for Christmas. Its actually very nice and soaks right in. The soap has made such a difference in my skin after just one use. Seriously. Now for feet I like to use the homemade soap poured into luffa then cut into slices. It cleans up the feet extremely well and keeps the calluses off with no problems. I am diabetic and have no problems with them done this way.

It is not up to us to defend or attack a woman who has become pregnant due to rape/incest. If they have done as the church says then we have no say, pro or con. If I knew a woman who had an abortion under the circumstances then all I can say is love them. They have dealt with enough already. Would I have an abortion under the circumstances? No but I can not condemn anyone for having one. Do you realize the life that child will live? If she keeps the baby, that baby will know he was conceived in violence and the 'father' in many states has parental rights. Most states in fact. If she adopts the baby out then the 'father' can object and possibly even get the baby. Especially if the rape was not reported and gone to trial with a guilty verdict. I can understand anyone fearing that outcome, both for herself and the baby. The church says it has to be done with careful consideration and prayer and this has to be the right answer.

We left one of our kids on the wharf in Santa Cruz. We had gone in a circle to get back to the entrance of the wharf and saw a crowd around where we had been stopped. One of the kids said "Hey! There's .....! We got her amidst lots of glares from the crowd. After that we counted every single time we drove anywhere. Since then I have heard lots of stories from parents who have done amazingly scary things that could have ended very badly. None of them did.
