It was a horrible horrible thing to happen!! Very sad!! All u can do for these people are pray for them and their familes. And prepair ourselves this is the last days. Things are happening, will happen. Mens humanity to man.....is so so sad, it didnt need to be like this or did it? Most of the crap comes from Jealosly, breeds hate, Power, breeds hate, Greed, breads hate. Im for flower power haha I want love, and peace for all mankind. will have it someday, unfortunaly we have to go through all this hate first. Ugh!

Hi katie and welcome, nice to have you here with us. Thats great that you ordered the book of Mormon. Along with that taking the missionary descussions is a good thing it will help you alot. Dont be jealous you can have it too, well share it with you. And you can be a part of our big family. The family is what drew me towards the church as well.

Men think different then Women, sometimes it hard to understand each other true. Men are more logical, woman more emotional, sometimes more romantic. A good book to read is men are from mars women from venus. read it better yet read it together. and of course the key to any relationship is open communcation..... You can both get what you need or want....

You will always hear negative things about the church, thats why it is so important for you to research it out for yourself. By going to church, to taking the missionary lessons. anyone can tell u anything good, not so good, or wrong or bad. Take the steps, as it seems like u have already 1.by utube, 2. by coming in here. we will help u, direct u, but again u can only find out by going to the church, the missionary lessons, and partaking. Praying is very important. Call up the church ask for missionarys to visit, or just walk in on a sunday ask to speak with the missionaries. Women are not 2nd class at all. we are equal's we just play a different role. Women are much needed in the church, if not how would things get done?? lol...a joke, but true rflol If we are striving to live right then we love and welcome all. We love all, just not the sin. We beleive we can all repent and turn our lives around with the help of The Lord. Also I laugh alot, and I got flowers last sat so there u go ......... -
It doesnt matter if you have been married before or not. Like Others said their are many good Lds people, and some that are not. Christ came to heal us all, and He can if we let him. You are welcome to learn about the church, but only join if you know it's right for you, if youfeel that its good, know its true, being a member is a big committment. God loves all His children, yes Even You. He wants you to be happy and have all the blessings. He has a wonderful plan of happiness for us all. But do not join the church if your reason is to find a good man. I want you to know what attracted me to the church first was the closeness of Mormon families, because this is what I wanted. But the many yrs in the church I have received so much more. Thou I am still single. Being single is a hard thing I know. But I also know that even with all my faults and weakness I have truely been blessed in many things but above all alse I am grateful to be a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ its my biggest blessing of all. So I'd suggest you start off by taking the missionary lessons, going to church investing, learning, searching, praying . And see what happens. Take the steps!! Lifes a journey enjoy it !!

How old r u jody? I joined the church a few wks before I was 21. at first my dad and step mom didnt know. I kept it from them. My dad was the first one to marry out of the faith with his 2nd marriage. My mom died when I was 3 yrs old. I was born into a jewish family as I was in my late teens I wondered why Jewish people dont beleive in Jesus, He's Jewish, yHe taught the Jewish people and so on and so forth. I didnt know anything about the Lds church. In 12th graDE OR 11TH cant remmeber to far back haha. I meet a girl who wasnt a member but was intersted in the church, we went our own way, then one day I just desided to walk in the Church, my family didnt know, and I was never the kind of girl to go out alot. All of a sudden Im going out and my dads thinking in his mind why?? but never asked me. Then one day while I was driving to the sister missionarys home, the sisters called and my dad picked up the phone, and asked what was going on??? well to make a longer story short when I got to the sisters home, they told me I needed to go and tell my dad. so I left. I was probably nervous. But I knew my father loved me alot as I did him. When I got home he was asleep. So I waited in the living room. I was suppose to go out that night to a church dance called the golden green ball, we dont have them any more. Since my dad was sleeping I desided to go to the gas station deli we owned, my step mom was there in the deli. So I told her. She told me it was my life, my choice. When my dad got out of the car at the station, he took his pointer finger out and wiggled at me like come here, and he said sister and used my last name, he was not mad, didnt scream, or anything he was just hurt. I joined the church it was the best thing I did in my life.

there are no set prayers 4 personal prayers or prayers given 4 a group just talk from your heart. But I want u to know that your not the only one who feels like this. I have felt that way, many others have too keep your public prayers simple. 1.Address Heavenly Father 2.give thanks 3. ask 4close pray (i) if its just 4 u or (we) if its for a group 5. close it in the name of Jesus Christ Amen
