hi jody, the # thing doesnt make a difference. what makes a difference is You. Have u taken the missionary lessons and how do u feel about what u r learning? Have u sincerely prayed and prayed to know if its true? Do u feel like its home 4 u? THose are the real questions you should be asking...This is all about YOU and how u feel. ASk and you shall receive knock and it shall be given, but not in your way nor your time But in Gods. Remember God wants the very best 4 u, He's their to help and guide you onto the right path. I know that I have been blessed to be a member Of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints am I perfect? No i've made Millions of mistakes oh maybe my #'s off. Dont sweat the small stuff. As far as what scriptures its ok to use the paper ones tilu know which ones you want.

Going on a mission is voluntary. you might ask him why he doesnt want to go on a mission, what made him change his mind? If its because of you, thats not a good reason member gf or not member gf. If thats the reason tell him to go! but if its other reasons, find out talk with him tell him to be honest with you maybe u guys can work it out together. If hes feeling forced to go, by parents he should talk with them,maybe he's not ready. Good luck to the both of you. Also he should talk with his Bishop and he needs to do something like ASAP NOW even Tonight if possible times runing out... He is very lucky to have such a caring gf like you. they leave as boys on their mission and come back as men. It really is the best thing for him, but there has to be reason why he's feeling like this AGAIN THE BEST THING FOR HIMIS TO CALL HIS BISHOP EVEN TONIGHT!!

ithink its about the same. its very sad that people cant get along but we know thats not going to happen til Christ reigns. and lots of bad things are happening and unfortunately will happen, hey some of us cant get along in our own familes or just respect each other, sad but true.

Hyena, I know how you feel,Im single too and a older single person,no family, no children. It can be hard and lonely and u can feel like a out sider at times so many mothers day programs, even though the church tries to let the single woman feel involved its not the same. I know part of it is feeling sorry for myself, when is it going to be my turn. Your part of a ward family, be friendly, mingle with the others get to know them. How long u been in the church, where do u live? Yes in some areas of the church there are many life time members who grow up with each other and in those situations it might be harder, make an extra effort to be friendly, most other areas theres so many converts that its so easy to mingle, mix in. And u do have a great attitude your not their for the people, but to learn and grow in the gospel. Your their for your relationship with God.But people need people, is their a single fhe group if so join in if not ask the bishop why there isnt one, let him know how u feel. Maybe its your mission to help others learn how to be better member missionaries. And yes satan can use this as a tool, to get u and others inactive, remember he uses all he can to get you out of the church of God. Dont let him win, it is indeed a war going on, Best advice is to stay active, make friends in your ward, your stake, dont be afraid to talk to the bishop about ur feelings. I'm so sorry as well for what you have gone through and are going through. I agree with what Eowyn and LiterateParakeet have told you, as well as you said you where a memeber look up the closest Lds meeting house and call the Bishop and make a meeting to see him. Get all the help you can. I said a prayer for you and your family, but you should pour out your heart to Our Loving Heavenly Father cry out your heart for His Help. You do not need to do this all alone. You can also put your name and your familys name on the Temple prayer list. Salt Lake City Temple and so forth # is 1800-453-3860 ask for the pray roll list and u will be connected.
