the best thing you can do for your dad and mom...is give of yourself....your time...spend the weekend with them..just being with you is the best gift....imho or take them on a trip to the ocean, or mountains,apark, what ever they like where do u live? or watch a uplifting movie, movie night popcorn or what ever....or take them to a nice dinner..or to visit family... again the best thing is you just spending precious time with them time is precious it goes sooo fast too fast....... let us know what udesided to do....:)

We are all sinners! Certain sins need to be confessed to the Bishop and he will desided if it needs to go further if so he will talk to the stake pres. and if desided their will be a court case ...it is really done out of love for the sinner, each case is different if the person is disfellowship or excommunicate even though it might be a very hard thing for the person going thru this, probably cause of pride,afraid of what others might think of you.or whatever...and of course...Satan...and his followers want us to fail, they will also be after us .even more they dont want us back in the church.. but its really a blessing...if disfellowship or excommunication takes place hopefully that person will have hope and faith to hold on still go to church, still repent, meet with their leaders and work hard to get back. And what a blessing that will be....

to answer ur question...I will ask u a question....dont u want your loved ones to have the blessings of the gospel??? or others?????? thats why.....this way all have the opportnity to except the gospel...baptism is an earthly ordinance I believe. Its also to seal families together..Heavenly Father would never hold any one back...Heavenly Father covers it all if its not done now it will be done in the millennium all work will be done..My concern is why are u asking this question??? Helping others have their work done is a service being done for them, its a blessing for them and for you, its missionary work.. When we are in the service of our fellow human bein we are in the service of our God..why wouldnt you want to help others?

sure go for it!!! Get to the temple!!! Seal your family together!!! So its been five years, thats the past. If your temple ready do it. It will be a very special day and I'm sure it will bond you and your husband, closer then you are now. As for a reception or small get together with family and friends to celebrate if thats what u want, then do it. As far as I know you cant wear your temple dress to your reception. You can wear your old dress with alterations, or go out and treat yourself to a new dress for afterwards. What ever u desided to do, it will be a wonderful spiritual day....Let us know what you deside to do.....

you didnt go wrong @ all...whats so wrong with a little pink, she will grow out of it...or maybe u can say when shes 13 she can do it. 12 is a little young, but kids are growing up way faster. like it was said above at least she asked. I think some times were overly strick..in some things i think its ok to give in some. but what do I know i;m not a mother...but i think being to stern can back fire....or let her wear a pink feather...there cute...

But I do know that you can conquer it... Many have..some people say going cold turkey is the best way. some use the new e cig, best thing I think is to get a blessing.. and work on your self by taking baby steps, dont be hard on yourself I know this is hard not to do we are all our worst enemy. Said one of the general authorities of the 70s last sunday i my ward Elder Smith I think it was he came from ut to fl. to speak with his siblings who r inactive about the plan of salvation, their mother just passed away. He said Never give up ten times. I know sin keeps us away from God and Church or we feel like hipracrites, but were not...Were Children of God and we all have our weakness, faults, etc..the trick is to never give up, keep on trying,I had a friend who wasnt active either who smoked, he came to church from time to time didnt take the scarament and then was told by his bishop to par take of it...Remember none of us is perfect..Best of luck to you, and many wishes for your happiness......with Gods help u can accomplish all things...dont be hard on urself if u fall...just get up and do it again..start over..Never giveup!
