it wont work. i agree with the original post starter. This will not work and is against the constitution. Section 14 i believe. The goverment knows this but the goverment is evil now.They want the dollar bill to go away so they can have the new world order. Its talked about in revelations. i think it is awesome that you can say things and confess those things. I had a problem with sinning. It has been a struggle let me tell you. Just remember that Satan will do anything to get you away from god. I think maybe you were a special child to god.Satan knows this and uses his most powerful tool.But god knows that if you keep persisting to call on god and obey him god will finally just deliver you from those shackles to which you are bound. It just takes more work then we are use to and faith. God gives trials but remember to pray. Prayer is such a fascinating ordinance with true intent. Why don you pray in a peaceful place and just let it all out as if you were talking to a parent..i guarantee something will happen and you feel so much better.

i agree with Marshac. The goverment is laying blame on what they where to prevent. This is all part of the scheme to change things in america. Look at all the new laws coming to act. We have sort of a lent.....Fast Sunday once a month YOU skip two or more meals for a purpose while praying about things or say someone is sick and you have a enough faith but want to show your seriousness you would fast to get them better or or if you are in a pickle you would do so as well.Jesus did it for various reasons. Thats interesting.. I think all i know is whay joseph smith said and one i think paul said in the bible or was it jesus telling one of his apostle about it. I just know that the requirements seem to vary by individual but we wont know till the end.

Yeah make sure you get some professional help to help you know whats going on? I get in moods sometimes but as i read and prayer i feel better. I was thinking of getting a blessing to help alleviate some moods of laziness. Another thing i might want to ad is repentance. Sometimes god wont do anything till you repent of such moments or thoughts.He done to his prophets and apostles who sinned. He told them many times to repent or the spirit would be taken away.Repentances isnt there to make you feel bad or put you down. Its made to reopen the communication lines between your and god. Getting the Holy ghost back. I ve been down some horrible roads but repentance brings peace.I want to serve the lord and only him now. When you have thoughts just kneel down and prayer that may cast the evil thoughts and the spirit provoking them. Change is normal in life so dont fret. Read the scriptures, pray and work on meeting the requirements for priesthood and other ordinances, like going to the temple.

i second that notion. If they really want to learn ask them to attend but remember that it is okay for you to study the scriptures so your always prepared. I always let people know that i don mind discussing things as long as m views are not distorted into "typical mormon" views or distorting things. I tell them in believie in God and in his son Jesus Christ and the holy Ghost. Usaually the articles of faith work here.

Thats the scripture i wanted to give :) I know a guy who loves science and i always tell him that god gave us science but who do you think the real professor is? Proof is not how god works.He gave us proof?He is our father? He knows us and thats why there are many scriptures that tell about this proof you want but your not going to find in a tangible way. You in essence are acting like the teacher and god is the student?based on what he shows you. you will grade his authenticity. I just dont think it works like that. Keep searching and you will find what you looking for. Dont let anyone make fun of you if you are wanting to learn. There are so many stories in the book of mormon and bible that teach about things of this nature and how men thought they were wiser than god and made stuff up and asked for proof. Read and you will see that god showed them proof as a whole,which sometimes brought famine and plagues even destruction cause they mocked him. We are all headed in the same direction as a people in the world and you can see it on the news and everyday life. That is what you get when you stop believing in god and jesus. like i said you can see in on tv the effects. There is alot of proof in front of you

If you search to much and doubt then those are the feelings you will receive. God doesn't always give you the answer there. But maybe he gave you an answer and your fighting it now. God doesnt want us to sin but you forget that he gave us free agency. He cannot intervene when he feels that we are about to do wrong. Sometimes we have to learn for ourselves. Yes he give us commandments that can make us happy but at some point he knows we will think we know better and break that law. We as our children i think are horrible.That is why jesus came to help relieve us from that but still it is up to us to make good on our choices. I testify to you that by living by the church standards and learning and studying the doctrine as well as praying will get you closer to god then any other way. The easiest way i found about know how joseph smith started things is Amos 3:7 and amos 7:13-15. That did it for me. You can pull off as much scripture as you want about things but you will find contradicions people have made there own doctrine but when you read the bible and the book of mormon as one doctrine then all your doubts go away and it makes sense. Jesus had a gospel and it was preached as well as organized. That church has been restored today and prophesy is still given cause god loves his children and knows what we need. I hope you find all the answers you are looking for but sometimes you just have to have faith and go with it.

paul YOu going to have to many people telling you what to do. You have to do what is right? I went away from the church and i feel sometimes that people look down on me,im coming back and notice that people are people in any church you go to, but you know what im not there to get there approval. Im there to learn and get closer to Christ. Just cause your LDS doesnt mean all people will not judge like normal people but Satan is abound and is ruining your happiness. Coffee and tea dont make you a bad person but i dont even think that it says that verbatim. If you read on the health risk you ll see that caffeine is a stimulant, like a drug. Maybe there telling you something you dont know.I know our food is geneticall enhanced i think this is the reason for the word of wisdom. What did you think those people in the Book of Mormon did when they joined the Gospel.some started to astray but the prophest told them to repent and live righteously.Come unto Christ.Then all was well IM not saying that your a bad person but im saying is that deep down inside you know whats up. the answers are here but who do want answers from is question,precepts of man or God. The bible and The book of mormon will answer your questions. Pray with a sincerety but go to a quite place.You may not get an answer right away but you will get one. Eternal Life is no free gift in my eyes.I have to want it and show that i love the lord and believe in our savior jesus christ and his teachings and know that he atoned for our sins that we might be able to repent. Answering the original thread Dont let others bring you down.THe spirit is with you still it seems. Pray about what you should do but if those that seek to bring you down dont understand the church,start standing up.Just as all the old prophets did and apostles did. Still respect your parents though. No one says that joining the church makes life easy.LIFe is LIFE no matter what religion your in. My mother joning and her dad disowned her but she kept living it and stood by it and then she got the respect. having the true gospel makes it easier and peaceful but remember that to get close to God means Satan will try to grab you away from god. You have a decision to make but just remember to keep reading and praying that you will receive the strength to endure and receive the priesthood.

I believe there is any answer to all that seek. Talking about JESUS is God what are we to say about this verse if such is the case. Mark13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man,no,not the angels which are in heaven,neither the son,but the father I have a girlfriend and her family is baptist. They are trying to make me understand so i went looking for myself and i found that verse. I understand the Trinity but that verse says alot.
