  1. I finally got it to work. It was....ummm...interesting.
  2. Are you finally admitting to being old?
  3. Most of the chapels I have been in have "mother's rooms." Where mothers can go and feed their babies. The meetings are usually piped into the room. Therefore the mother misses none of the meeting itself.
  4. In case you didn't see my other thread. I talked to SF last night. Nick is doing great and is home. She will post more later.
  5. So I guess that is an admission that you still wear them?
  6. I have not been totally banned from doing laundry, but there are restrictions on what I can do and can't do. The big question I have though Pale. Are you allowed to wash your plaid pants?
  7. As frustrating as they can be (and believe me I have severe issues with one) I'm actually enjoying my teenagers. I've been surprised many times by the logic and understanding they have of social issues, political issues and the world in general. It's a tough time to be a teenager. I thought I had it bad when I was one. My years as a teenagers was NOTHING compared to what they now go through. We live in a pretty afluent area. We are not afluent mind you...but it's hard to get them to understand at times why they don't have the same things as those they associate with. But as they are getting older I think they are understanding and appreciating more of what they have. At least I hope so.
  8. I suppose being family, I do have to give a little.
  9. Yep I heard she couldn't even put the book down long enough to sit and enjoy lunch with grandparents today. Wow, word travels fast! Yeah, grandma wasn't happy about that part of our visit, I suspect she also wasn't happy that we didn't pack all their house up for the the move while we were there, either. And why not? What was your problem there?
  10. I have Quicktime but my comp still froze when trying to play it.
  11. Yep I heard she couldn't even put the book down long enough to sit and enjoy lunch with grandparents today.
  12. JD my dear. Your control...er...almost control is amazing.
  13. Same here pushka. I tried it and it completely froze my computer. I had to reboot my entire system.
  14. I'll stick with these forums. Thanks anyway.
  15. This day and age Heather you just never know. Always have been Pale and always will be. Don't you forget it.
  16. Wasn't she an actress?
  17. I personally never took it to mean you were a racist. I didn't see that at all. Though I am curious as to how you think this would be "messing with God's plan." Just wanting to understand.
  18. Hispanic and White are not necessarily interracial. There are only three races. Hispanic falls into the Caucasian race, unless mixed. That's why you often see "Hispanic (non-white) on the census. Inter-ethnic might be a better label for that Tux. Good point. Very true.
  19. Then instead of working for Boeing you can get a job at Simplot making french fries. And I LOVE their french fries.
  20. Exactly
  21. I think that he told me that he was going to. I know that he told my sister that he was going to serve a mission on another site. I knew he was. It's an inside joke the two of us have had. Though trying to pass all those psychological tests has not been easy for him.
  22. I totally agree with all that is said. The color of the skin doesn't matter. It would not bother me at all. As long as the man is a good man, displays respect, what does the color of the skin matter? I think sometimes the problem is the social aspect that is placed on interracial relationships. I also agree with CK. Sometimes it's not the color of the skin that causes problems it's the cultural background.
  23. No you did just fine Newbert. It's hard sometimes to put in writing something so that people understand exactly what you are asking.
