  1. Probably once every two months.
  2. The Provo temple. That's where I was endowed and married.
  3. I actually read Twilight in high school, before the hype, and didn't like it. I tried it again after it got super popular, and still didn't like it!
  4. For what it's worth, JThimm88, I have a similar problem. I'd love a silky, cute nightgown that covers my garments. Obviously since I'm in the privacy of my own home, it wouldn't matter if I wore a spaghetti strap nightgown, but I just don't think it's attractive to see the garments sticking out! I did a lot of searching before I got married and found nothing. So, I don't have answers for you, just sympathy.
  5. That made me bawl! My dad was in the Air Force, and I remember him coming home one time when I was five and I cried because I was so happy to see him.
  6. Catholicism has always interested me. My parents converted to the church when I was three so if they hadn't, I probably would've been raised Catholic. However, if suddenly the church was "proved false" or I stopped believing, I don't think I could go to any other church.
  7. I don't believe in any of the "ancient aliens" theories, but I do find them interesting. Anyone see that guy's wild hair on that show?
  8. I did proxy sealings a few weeks ago and the sealer happened to mention that "the new and everlasting covenant" refers to the fullness of the gospel.
  9. It's hard to understand why the teacher was so offended by a child's drawing!
  10. I can’t remember who said “It’s not about the game, it’s about how you treat people” but I was like, uh... seriously? This isn’t the “be sweet and nice and as saint-like as possible” game. It’s outwit, outplay, outlast. And while Rupert was quick to label Russell as a horrible, disgusting human being, he sure was happy to align with him when it worked in his favor! Like always, the jury was bitter and couldn’t get over their grudges, and just voted for whoever offended them the least. Sandra didn’t deserve to win. She wasn’t completely useless, but her gameplay was nowhere near as strong as Russell’s and Parvati’s.
  11. I do find it a bit silly when people get bent out of shape over minor grammar errors. Especially when someone replies to a post/comment just to point our the mistake.
  12. The thing about Parvati is that she's just as ruthless, arrogant, and scheming as Russell, but she puts on this little-miss-charming act and everyone forgets about it. Regardless of whether you like or dislike Russell, he does seem to have a knack for getting people to vote the way he wants...
  13. I can't believe I'm saying this, having been a Survivor fan for years, but I've had a hard time getting into this season. I watch it every Thursday, but I don't feel that excited about it. Maybe because I've seen all these people play before. I'm just looking forward to seeing the next season's location.
  14. I'm lucky enough to live ten minutes away from a temple, and I go often - usually twice a month. Nothing gives me quite the same sense of peace and fulfillment.
  15. You know if someone tried to make a comedic musical of another religion - Judaism, Islam, whatever - there would be outrage over how "intolerant" and "insensitive" it is. But my general reaction is "eh." It's always frustrating to see these things, but the work will go forth.
  16. I frequently have flying dreams, and love them!
  17. Yes, I used to live in Alaska.
  18. What was the deal with Courtney getting an attitude with Jeff? Acting like he insulted her for being weak. She is weak. She knows it, everyone knows it. She sits out half the challenges. He was just calling it how it is. Also, although I think Russell is smart at some aspects of the game, he really needs to work on his social game if he wants to go far. He's great at outwitting, but you've got to make friends along the way, too.
  19. I think most dreams are unimportant, but sometimes they can have a higher meaning.
  20. My pet peeves include tailgaters, slow walkers, and girls who scream and jump up and down.
  21. I like the greenery in the celestial room!
  22. This is bringing back memories of my horrible Philosophy 1010 class. Sorry, carry on...
  23. It will probably be mentioned at the reunion show!
  24. The answer is simple: stop dating him. It doesn't sound like he is willing to respect you, or even himself. It sounds like he has no problem breaking the law of chastity. He's willing to give up on his standards and virtues, and he'll drag you down with him. You don't want to be with this kind of person. I know from personal experience how hard this situation can be. I went through the same thing. But this boy is not worth it. Nobody is worth breaking God's laws. Break up with him; pray for comfort to get through it, and you will be blessed for your strength and faith.
  25. I somewhat understand. I have a difficult time making friends; I sit alone in Relief Society with all these women chatting and laughing around me, and just gaze silently ahead waiting for the lesson to start. And that's what we need to remember. We're there for the lesson, to learn more about the gospel.
