Here is your first ref, my school. When i was in high school abstinence was not dicussed at all. Neither was it in any of the other schools in my area (I know because I had friends there too). We were given condoms, we talked about other types of protection, std's, and then of course babies. Not once was abstinence brought up. I agree with Fiannan that if you see the child as a child and still feel compelled to vote pro-abortion then you are saying it is ok to murder. I will remember that for the next time in my life somebody comes along and they are inconvient to deal with, especially some fool at work. The Church has been somewhat vauge about Abortion and the interview process does help shed some light on it. But then again I have a feeling that will change soon. We can look to the scriptures and see that murder is wrong and following the spirit I know that allowing these children to be murdered is WRONG and sinful. Again I say, anyone that supports this barbaric murdering of our children should be locked up. In this life or the next, we will all be held accountable.

Civil partnerships are fine but it is not marriage and it is not ok. Personally I think it is a mental disease which people that have it engage in risky behavior. Some argue it is a civil rights issue but that is hardly the case. I have just as much right to marry a person of the same sex as anyone else. The absurdity comes when compared to the struggles of those of Blacks during the 1960's. If that were true then imagin this senerio. If a Black person were to ask out a white person or vice versa and was to be rejected because of the color of their skin, would that not be a bigotted thing to do? Would the same logic apply with homosexuals? If a gay person asks out a straight person (there is no vice versa here) and the gay person is rejected then is that biggotry as well? Will one day we live in a society where it is considered wrong to reject somebody just because they are of the same sex?

We all have the choice to murder. But if we choose to do so then we will pay for it. In this life or what comes after, we will be judged. Just because we have the "choice" does not make it right. The mothers choice was the night she decided to have sex. Once the life was made the only choice (outside of murder) is if you should keep the child or put them up for adoption. The idea that is about men wanting to "control" your body is absurd. That is just an diversion tactic to try and get away from the fact that these women are murdering their own children. A person who would do that really has no business with a child in my opinion but the child should not have to pay for it, give the child a chance at life and put them up for adoption. I am sure glad my mother chose to keep me and not murder me. I am sure most other people feel the same way. Some people though survive their parents attempt to murder them. It is really troubling and even more so that the major news outlets are all but ignoring the story. It is a HUGE scandle but of course mums the word. I am all for getting citizens informed and having them make a decision to vote for who they think will best serve them. But when you pay people money and bus them to vote for your guy... at least once per person, then that is wrong. Some have used that old line and said "The end justifys the means" or that since "Bush stole the election, then this is only fair" (Of course every single recount ever done shows he won). A ton of voting has already gone on of which Acorn has been a big part of. I am extremly concerned for the integrity of the votes for this election, more so than any before.

Hard to find most places but this is todays news on this subject. Obviously it is very damaging to a certain candidate for POTUS and so the MSM is putting it on the back burner. Big time NO! In fact I would say that all those that voted in favor of this legislation should be impeached for failure to uphold the Constitution. I really wish I were rich or even well off so that I could challenge it in court to hopefully put a stop to this madness. Honestly they should all be impeached, every single last one of them. They are a disgrace to our Republic and the offices of which they hold.

Abortion is murder period. In some cases Murder is acceptable, such as war and the defense of your life. So in some cases the Murder of that Child might be permissable in situations where the mothers life is in danger just as taking the life of a person who breaks into your home with the difference being the child is innocent. With any murderer, people who perform, have, or support abortions in any way should be brought up on charges of murder. To be in a so called civilized nation where we allow thousands of children to be barbaricly murdered every year just makes me sick. But hey who wants to be "punish with a baby" anyway, I reserve such horrible punishment for only the most hardend criminals.

Fraud is huge here. My biggest concern is that we will have a lot of people voting multiple times as well as people who should not be voting at all casting votes (Fellons, Non Citizens, dead people, pets, etc). A certain party has gone out of their way to make sure voter fraud will be huge, especially in this coming election. They have blocked all sorts of reforms such as a requirment of ID to vote to name the biggy. IMO the ID to vote should not even be debated yet it is fought tooth and nail at every turn. On a similar issue though, I think only people that actually pay taxes should have the right to vote similar to what our founders stated. Otherwise you have 2 wolves and a sheep voting for what is for dinner. That right there is a major part of why our Republic is slowly headed towards Socialism. But that is for another topic.

Churchs should always be exempt. The sports part I have always found interesting. I am a firm believer that if you have the skills to make the team, then allow them to compete. This goes for any job as well. However most of the time that is not possible which is why we divide teams based on gender. Or if a job has a certain physical requirement (Firefighter) then anyone that meets that standard should have a chance at that job, man or woman. If you do not meet that standard then out you go.

As long as it is before the conception then I have no issue. After conception then it is murder.

Well without giving away too much to those that have not seen it, the movie goes extra Dark, way past a level they needed to go. The first movie was dark but it had a lot of uplifting moments. This really did not do that at all. The entire ending was super lame and I was just really disapointed with just about everything that happened there. Part of this was due to the psyco bable and some twisted moral they were trying to push on us but to me it just did not work. Honestly, as I said it was jsut aweful IMO and I am really disapointed.

Most disapointing movie for me just about ever. I loved the first movie and thought it was amazing. This was just pure trash. I hated the ending, I hated the psyco bable, and clearly the message was total BS. I am so upset and disapointed right now I honestly want my money back. It really disturbs me that soooo many people love this crap and call it one of the best movies of all time. I think our standards must be very low. To me it is similar to my let down of the Star Wars 1-3 trash on my level of disapointment. /me ends rant and goes to ask for his money back.

The R rating is so subjective these days and the movie industry will push the limits to get the PG13 rating as close to R as possible. Like each Lord of the Rings movie was cut just enough to skim the PG13 rating. Many movies from 20-30 years ago or more would never get the R rating today. Like Rambo 1 or the Godfather I highly doubt would still get an R today. And by cut I mean one less scene that showed some blood or a person being killed. I must find the site because the differences these cuts made to get it down to PG13 really had nothing to do with anything. If I see 10 shots of blood slatter which makes it R but if they cut it down to only 9 shots then thats a PG13? I really need to find the website with that info again. Most movies do this now and they have it down to an art. Batman I am sure is no different. They want the 13 rating so teenagers can go see it which is a huge part of their target audience. Personally I do not care what ratings are, I use personal judgement and refuse to watch anything I believe to be garbage no matter the rating.

drjme, yea they have BF3 in the works. Soooo many rumors on it and they really do not tell us anything anymore. When it gets closer to release I am sure they will get all buddy buddy with us to try and get our team to switch to BF3 like they tried to do with 2142. The only mod that actually switched was the Star Wars mod and that was so they could have the ATAT walkers and space combat. palantir, that is awesome!!! Whata great opportunity you have had. I love doing this as well but as time goes on it gets harder and harder to find time to do it, especially now that I have a rug rat at home. I am totally going to have to check out your work. We also were featured on moddb.com when we won mod of the year for 2006. We submit our news to them often but they have gotten really strict as of late on the images they accept which means we have to write a special news just for that site. Anyway, I hope to see some of you all in game. If you are in the states I play on the Tactical Gamer server and go by the name "Greasy_Mullet" which is a long running joke but the name I have had for like 6 years now.

Yes, most of the maps do. 2 of the new maps have single player which brings us to 23 levels with single player/coop. You can also run coop with friends and take on the bots. We plan to add more of our maps in future updates with single player but it takes a bit of work to get the AI right.

We have bots in our mod and I have pushed them to over 100 before. Not sure what the limits are for 1942 but my guess would be around 60. Bots are great for lan parties so buddies can coops against the huge bot invasion.

That is great, 1942 is still a very popular game and many great mods on it. I worked with the FH mod team some but on their BF2 mod and not their 1942 one.

As some of you might know, I am computer programmer in real life. In my spare time I have been working on a video game called Point of Existence for the last several years. The game is called a mod because we take the base game and modify it for users that have purchased the base game. Electronic Arts loves it because we give their product added value and in return, we get experience in the game industry much like an internship. The team we have is made up from people all over the world and each of us works on it in our spare time. Many of us started in modding and eventually worked our way into real jobs in the industry or got experience that we were able to use for a real life job. Anyway I do not know how many gamers we have here but we are about to release the latest version of our mod for Battlefield 2. For owners of the game, our mod is free. After the first Batman with Jack and Mike, the rest were garbage until these 2 latest. I am glad to see these done right.

Since you guys have mentioned a ton of my fav new movies, I am going to give you some of my older choices. Rambo 1 - This movie is not a shoot em up action movie. Most people assume it is. The movie is a Drama about him coming back from Nam and looking for a buddy and gets harrashed by the local sheriff instead. It turns into a battle for survival against this one mans massive ego and is a wonderful movie. Miracle - 1980 our nation was going through a rough time. We had one of the worst POTUS in the nations history, the world was on the verge of another war with Soviet agression, oil was through the roof, hostages in IRAN, and just all sorts of bad stuff going on. With that back drop, our hocket team was formed about bringing players together into a real TEAM and not just a bunch of all stars thrown together. The result... was a miracle. Roommates - Its like a chick flick but for guys. The story is about an old man who raises his grandson and then helps guide him through life as an adult. Its one of the few movies that will make me break down and cry every single time I watch it. Stranger Than Fiction - I hate Will Ferrell, I do not find him funny at all in most movies and shows. That said, he did a great job in this movie which I felt was a really original plot. The movie was just so well done and it all comes together so perfectly, this was one of the best new movies I had seen in a long long time.

Sometimes people just need to vent a little and as a friend they might want to vent to you. I think the advice to have them confront that person to work out their issues is the best thing to say. Personally I have always seen the back bitting gossip issue about hidding things from people. As mentioned earlier, if you can not say it to a persons face then that turns it around to be gossip and thus you are hiding that from them. It creates secrets, trust issues, and can even lead to lies to help cover up the gossip.

The whole thing was absurd and if any of those "stars" had done anything wrong then it should have been delt through normal law enforcement channels and through the MLB.
