I do not like the snow in Utah. But I will trade good weather for Utah weather and I get the bonus of liberty.

Why the Fight Over the Wall Matters

This woman below brought some illegal immigrants to one of Nancy Pelosi's properties: Laura Loomer, accompanied by illegal immigrants from Guatemala and Mexico, lugged a tent onto Pelosi’s multimillion-dollar vineyard estate, freelance journalist Nick Monroe reported Monday. In large red letters, the word “immorality” was written across the tent; there were also photos of murder victims of illegal immigrants hanging from the front of the tent.Livestreaming the event, Loomer took the time to read each of the victims’ names and reiterate that these folks were not welcome in “sanctuary state California.” Read more here: https://godfatherpolitics.com/laura-loomer-with-illegal-immigrants-seek-sanctuary-on-pelosis-lawn-video/ -
The 1943 bronze penny sold for $204,000 in price. Read more about it here: http://fortune.com/2019/01/11/ultra-rare-penny-auction/ I hope by the year 2026 I have at least accumulated $200,000 in my retirement accounts. It may take my wife and I seven more years to almost save what this auction for a penny just went for.

Here is an update on this case: Jack Phillips, the Colorado baker who successfully fought the Colorado Civil Rights Commission all the way to the Supreme Court last year, is back in federal court again. He's won yet another victory over the commission, which seems determined to force the Christian baker out of business . . . The commission asked the federal court to dismiss the suit as premature, arguing (based on the doctrine articulated in the Supreme Court decision Younger v. Harris) that Phillips should be required to exhaust all available state remedies before availing himself of federal court. Phillips countered that he should not be required to continue to proceed in state court because the state was proceeding against him in "bad faith," which is a recognized legal exception to Younger abstention. As evidence of the commission's bad faith, Phillips pointed to the derogatory comments made by commission members during his prior legal fight. The commission countered that this time, they had not disparaged Phillips' religious beliefs and were not proceeding in bad faith. Unsurprisingly, the district court was not impressed with this argument. Judge Wiley Daniel held that the fact that the commission proceeded against Phillips immediately after losing at the Supreme Court supported Phillips' argument that the commission was acting in bad faith in its handling of his case. Accordingly, the federal case was allowed to move forward. Read more at: https://www.theblaze.com/news/jack-phillips-masterpiece-cakeshop-lawsuit

I have a 1917 penny. It is over 100 years old. I will sell to anyone for half the price of the other 1943 penny for a mere $65,000. I cannot believe anyone would pay over $1,000 for a penny. "It's made of bronze though." I do not get it. It is just a penny to me. A solid gold penny would not even fetch in bullion weight $1,000.

More than seven decades ago, a Massachusetts teenager found a 1943 Lincoln penny in his lunch change and he decided to hang on to it until his death just a few months ago. That extremely rare one-cent piece could rack up as much as $1,700,000 when it's auctioned off Thursday in Dallas, the New York Post reported. The World War II penny is one of only 20 that were accidentally pressed in copper that year, Sarah Miller of Heritage Auctions in Dallas told Fox News. Sleep Paralysis or Evil Spirits?
Still_Small_Voice replied to clbent04's topic in General Discussion
A casting out of evil spirits has its limitations with the Holy Priesthood and with faith. If you cast wicked spirits out in the name of Christ and then grievous sins are committed in the area the spirits can come back. I heard a situation about someone playing with ouji boards in a house. A blessing was pronounced by the Priesthood and the evil spirits were cast out. A person then began committing fornication in the house. He told me that weird things would happen in his room. Objects would occasionally be moved off a shelf or out of place for no reason. Personages would be seen. Once unclean spirits are cast out do not do things that will open the door to invite them back. -
Sleep Paralysis or Evil Spirits?

One woman I met while serving a mission said she had terrifying experiences with an evil spirit or spirits. She said she would have these encounters after attending church so she went inactive for a while. She learned later she could cast them out through prayer or the name of Jesus Christ. She was active at the time I met her. I have had several weird encounters with evil spirits and not while asleep. One experience I had was while living in California. My girlfriend and I (later we married) were alone in a house at night and heard a noise that sounded like a grunt. My girlfriend asked me what the noise was. I said I had also heard it but did not know. Later I could sense and see and an evil presence outside the house. I saw three wicked spirits standing near a tree and the landscape outside. The next morning I examined the area I saw the spirits at (it was a dark night so I could not see the landscape) and was amazed that the landscape looked exactly as I saw it in my mind the previous night. I prayed and asked Heavenly Father to cast these spirits away. The spirits departed not long after. -
I used to be too afraid to put my money in a good mutual fund that invested in the stock markets. After thinking it through I decided that I could hold on to my fear of investing and only go with sure, safe investments and end up guaranteed poor in my later stages in life. But, if I took reasonable risks with my savings in decent stock mutual funds I could end up with some accumulation of assets in about 25 years for retirement. Thus far I took the plunge and my wife and I are trying to maximize our Roth retirement accounts every year in a good mutual fund. Here is hoping the blessings of God are upon our assets as I will need them in later years when I do not want to be a full time servant to an employer or I cannot work anymore.

The Standard and Poors 500 Stock Index has historically outperformed almost every investment out there so that is where I am at for likely the next ninteen years. The Roth retirement account works for me. My Federal income taxes are nothing presently with raising four kids. Many regular retirement accounts will be taxed at around 24% with the current tax brackets when people go to start making withdrawals in retirement. Twenty-four percent is too painful. I'd rather take the 0% after tax from the Roth retirement accounts after age 59.5.

This is great news for those of us who are putting money into Roth retirement accounts. Roth Individual Retirement Account annual contribution limits will go up by $500 from $5,500 in 2018 to $6,000 in the year 2019 if your annual income is not too high. Internal Revenue Service raised the contribution limits. The after age 50 catch up limit is now $7,000. Contributions for Individual Retirement Accounts also went up $500 per year but I do not care because I do not like the I.R.A. I prefer to take my retirement tax free from a Roth account after age 59.5. Read more about it here: https://thefinancebuff.com/401k-403b-ira-contribution-limits.html

My Prediction of the End of the United States
Still_Small_Voice replied to a topic in Current Events
I have solar panels on our house. They are costing us $35,000 plus 6.5 percent annual interest rate for the twenty year loan. My payments every month are $280 per month for the panels and at least a $25 to $40 per month for the power bill. My power bills were rarely more than $305 per month before the panels. In the blazing summer months my power bill is only reduced by about 50 percent because of running the air conditioner all the time. If the panels were about $15,000 I would consider them worth it, but mine are very over priced. -
So with all these changes will seventeen year olds be ordained to the priesthood office of Elder on the year the turn eighteen?

So does Qustodio have to be installed in whatever operating system you are using it on if you only wish to monitor all website visits on your router? If a device did not have Qustodio software installed on it could you monitor the Internet activity on that device if it was using your router in your house?

Tried for a few days using multiple browsers and operating systems to get into my router to access the logs. I cannot log in. I think I need some other third party software that is more reliable. I currently have Centurylink as my Internet Service Provider. I do not like them but I hate and detest Comcast and will avoid them at all costs. Anyone have any suggestions of software that will store a log of every website visited using my router?

Here is an update as of the 12th of December 2018. They have now raised $671,000 for the Reign of Judges Title of Liberty movie. I was shocked when I saw how much more money the movie had been funded.

Warning in my Patriarchal Blessing
Still_Small_Voice replied to clbent04's topic in General Discussion
These scriptures below can be applied to wealth and riches: "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved But Jesus beheld their thoughts, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but if they will forsake all things for my sake, with God whatsoever things I speak are possible. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the resurrection when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." -- Matthew 19:23 to 28 Inspired Version I take these scriptures as a caution to avoid the love of money which is the root of evil. The greatest trial in mortality in my opinion is wealth and ease. How many times did the Nephites of old turn away from God because of their love of money and pride? The wisdom of the writer below can be seen in these scriptures: "Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die; Remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me; Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain." -- Proverbs 30:7 to 9 -
Hello all. I want to be able to monitor all Internet activity that is going into my router and to the Internet. I want something that logs all websites visited that I can easily review on a weekly basis. In experience I have come to realize that I really want to have this in my household. Unmonitored Internet access is not something I want anymore. Are there any suggestions anyone can give me on a cheap effective solution for software that would do this? I would prefer to not rent my software every month or year. (Software rental is the route most companies are going with their applications and I hate it.) I would prefer to just pay once and be done with it for years. Does anyone have experience with programs that do this that are good and what is the cost I can expect?

Did a mysterious extinction event precede Adam and Eve?

If there were people prior to Adam they were all gone when Adam and Eve were placed here in my opinion. Edit: I am not saying there were people here prior to Adam. We do not know. -
Baptism is the entrance to the path leading toward eternal life with Heavenly Father. The journey has been ongoing for me for about thirty years with my membership in Christ's Restored Church. Congratulations on your wonderful decision to become a saint.

In my research I discovered you do not really control most Windows 10 computers. Windows 10 does four annoying things. First, it's a telemetry gathering platform for Microsoft. Microsoft slurps up huge amounts of data direct from within the operating system core. It helps them make an accurate picture of the user allowing them to monetize them in various ways. Second, it's designed as a portal to push the user into Microsoft services. Many things within Windows 10 (OneDrive, Groove, Microsoft Store et cetera) all nudge users into these services. Third, Windows 10 is an ad platform. Advertisements are injected into various parts of the system in order to extract money from the user. Fourth, most versions of Windows 10 push automatic software updates to your computer. This cannot be shut off short of doing hacks or making modifications to the operating system. The software updates may do the following: * Twice per year you may need to re-install software deemed not required by Microsoft that they may remove * Your preferences (including privacy settings) may be be reset to default, so you'll need to go through them regularly to change them again. * Some Metro applications may be re-installed if you deleted them previously. * Expect your group policy settings and tweaks to be completely removed or changed and the only way to get them back is to change to Windows 10 Enterprise.
