It is also wretched and wicked that people do these deep fake videos with other people's faces and put them into pornography pictures and videos. I was talking about it with my wife the other day. The Internet has brought a lot of good but I think the evil it has brought forth has made the world overall into a worse place. It is sad to me.

How many people arrested and harassed over the worthless mask mandates? I hated them and did everything I could to not wear them.

I am not liking what I am seeing with artificial intelligence thus far on some issues. Some of the people programming the intelligence have morals that are not good so this gets passed on into the software.

I heard it cost $7,000,000 for a thirty second commercial in the SuperBowl this year. (I could retire on seven million dollars for the rest of my life.) Most of the SuperBowl ads were a reminder of how shallow and empty our society has become. When the halftime show came on I changed the station. We do not watch the halftime shows much anymore. I liked the football game. It was a really close. One commercial I did like was the Tubi advertisement where they were throwing people into the rabbit holes.

Some people fear positions of power and wealth because of the temptations they may bring. I am reminded of this scripture in Proverbs chapter 30: 8 Remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me only food sufficient for me, 9 lest I be full, and deny Thee, and say, “Who is the Lord?”— or lest I be poor and steal, and take the name of my God in vain. Most of us cannot handle power righteously. (See Doc. and Cov. 121: 39-44.) To truly test someone give them a position of authority and true integrity of character will be tested. Maybe it is just a fear of mine, but I work for and wish for only so much wealth. Maybe my mind will change if I ever get to around one fifth of what Abraham and Sarah had. Abraham and Isaac had great wealth and it did not corrupt their souls.

Have not read the article but I have listened to lectures on the affects of pornography. Many people can warp themselves into voyeurists consuming large amounts of pornography. Everyone who is a good Latter-Day Saint knows that it is spiritually destructive. Thank goodness Christ can reform men and women caught in the addiction and help them forsake it and save them from their sins.

Aim for the legs rather than the torso, say some people. I can do it at a shooting range. That target is not moving. You're not in fear for your mortal life and your heart rate is way lower. You are also not in a low light and/or chaotic situation.

Bill Gates now owns 242,000 acres of farmland. I hope the Church is buying up a lot of farm land. Who knows, maybe there will be a lot of church members called on missions to work farmland? This may help with future food shortages.

A movie I like a lot about the Civil War is the film Gettysburg. Someone else studying history said the Union army did not begin to have major victories until the Emancipation Proclamation. He said he believed the hand of God began to help the Union armies when the slaves began to be freed. The 13th Amendment would seal the freedom from slavery for all legally once it was amended into the Constitution.

Article says more than 800,000 Confederate men enlisted and persevered through four long years of Civil War; nearly 260,000 would not survive. In my opinion, and from what I read, a large number of Confederate soldiers died from exposure or starvation.

Food will be worth its weight in silver in my opinion in the future. I had to get rid of a good portion of my food storage because I am moving in the near future. We still have about four months of food I believe. Do not forget water filters either. One of the first things I want to do when we get to our new location is buy up more long term food storage.

I heard recently someone say that most of the American Civil War soldiers in the South were drafted into the Confederate army and did not join of their own free will. Do we know what percentage of Confederate soldiers were drafted?

What types of drugs lead toward violent and homicidal behaviors in your opinion? I think methamphetamine is one of them. Heard from other sources methamphetamine can make one paranoid and delusional.

I go to the political right on forums. In the past I have met some decent people on forums that I go on. (They are not Twitter or Facebook or any of the other popular social media platforms.) One of the people helped me build a decent quality rifle and another helped me make some money on crypto currencies. (I never risked a lot in the crypto currencies as they are very volatile and unpredictable.) The platforms I prefer are not toxic nor have people that tear into you and say nasty things that they would likely never to a person's face if they met you in the real world.

People can only live on borrowed spiritual light so long. Everyone needs to gain their own witness. It really comes to desire in my opinion. If someone wants a witness they need to really seek it out on their own and put in the needed work to gain one. The LORD has given me many spiritual witnesses and He will give them to anyone who searches with real intent. I hope everyone prays for spiritual witnesses and experiences as they attend the LORD's temple. Some of the most special experiences have happened to me in the temple. If anyone truly wants to know if the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is true they can gain a powerful witness with faith and works.

100% agree. If you turn to the LORD and repent of your sins He will forgive you. One of my favorite scriptures is in the Inspired Version of the Bible. Psalms 30:4 to 5 reads: "Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger kindleth against the wicked; they repent, and in a moment it is turned away, and they are in his favor, and he giveth them life; therefore, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Amulek also taught: "Yea, I would that ye would come forth and harden not your hearts any longer; for behold, now is the time and the day of your salvation; and therefore, if ye will repent and harden not your hearts, immediately shall the great plan of redemption be brought about unto you." -- Alma 34:31

I have been reading different accounts and listening to the experiences of others and I think we would be shocked at how many people regularly dabble with unclean spirits and demons. In my opinion those that dabble in sexual immorality and pornography regularly deal with these spirits. These are not the only sins that bring devils and unclean spirits to you and inside of you, but committing the sin next to murder brings bad consequences. "Flee fornication. Every other sin which a man doeth is outside the body, but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you and which ye have from God, and that ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price. I love people but I hate what many social media connections are doing to our youth. The younger generations spend so much time on social media versus so litlle time in the scriptures so their fragile testimonies of Heavenly Father and Christ are being destroyed. Also, I hate what Facebook does with your personal information as they use it against you or for their own purposes.
