I've always assumed, correct me if I'm wrong, that when Lehi and family left Jerusalem Laman and Lemuel were probably in their early twenties. Possible very late teens. Which got me wondering. Why did they leave Jerusalem with the rest of the family? They obviously didn't want to go. They would have been adult age. Why didn't they just say "You know dad, as much as we would love to leave everything behind and go live in the wilderness, we're gonna stay here in Jerusalem. Have a nice trip though." Maybe is had something to do with Jewish customs back then? Thoughts?

Love our Roku! Lots of cool channels (BYUTV, Mormon Channel, etc.). Being able to watch conference live is great. Kids love wathing Studio C on the BYU channel. I can even stream to it from my PC.

They were building a new chapel in our stake a few years back that had on these negative space "crosses" on the front of the building that faced the street. They remodeled it to remove the "cross" before completing the chapel.

We just use baking soda and vinegar to clean our toilets. Way cheaper than chemicals, works great and is better for the environment.

My kids are addicted to Avatar: The Last Airbender cartoon. They watch it almost every day. It is a really good show, but the movie version left a lot to be desired.

The parents of one of the "Adam" actors (his wife played Eve) lived in our stake some years back. If was kind of cool going to their house and seeing wedding pictures of "Adam" and "Eve" on their wall. Pam, you may remember the Fife's. It was one of their sons.

A few years ago a I got a call about one of my school's TeleParent computer that wasn't making it's outgoing phone calls to parents. I found it tucked away in the corner of someone's office and after logging in I found that it was running OS2 Warp. I kindly told them that the computer was dead and that they needed a new one.

Well, I did it and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. At first it was a little creepy seeing his body on the table, but once we got started it started to actually feel good. There were a couple of times I felt as if he was watching and saying "thank you" to me for dressing his body. The only thing I would change about the experience would be to have more help. There were 3 of us and it was pretty difficult to move his body to get his clothes on. All-in-all a good experience. Thanks everyone for the advice.
