Similar to today.*

  5. I think the world of spirits will be more familiar than we realize.
  6. For any who liked Vivek Ramaswamy for VP.... JD Vance's wife is Indian and they have a son name Vivek.... So he's like a consolation prize.
  7. I don't think we have really bought into the idea that things on the earth are patterned after "heavenly" things. Prisons on earth are in the same sphere (geographical area) as the free world. We can go to visit prison, they can't come to us- until they are released. We just need to look at our lives here on earth to get a general idea of what is waiting for us.
  8. Quibbler Alert: Doctrine and Covenants 20 "68 The duty of the members after they are received by baptism—The elders or priests are to have a sufficient time to expound all things concerning the church of Christ to their understanding, previous to their partaking of the sacrament and being confirmed by the laying on of the hands of the elders, so that all things may be done in order." *Are the discussions sufficient time and do they expound all things concerning the Church?*
  9. Is that Mike Rowe or Jordan Peterson in daisy dukes?
  10. From Gospel Principles, Chapter 41: "Also in the spirit prison are those who rejected the gospel after it was preached to them either on earth or in the spirit prison. These spirits suffer in a condition known as hell. They have removed themselves from the mercy of Jesus Christ, who said, “Behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; but if they would not repent they must suffer even as I; which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit” (D&C 19:16–18). After suffering for their sins, they will be allowed, through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, to inherit the lowest degree of glory, which is the telestial kingdom." *A wonderful soul like Mother Teresa is not in a condition akin to that of Ron Lafferty. To say that all that haven't received the Gospel suffer in weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth, fearfully waiting for the justice of God to fall upon them is not what the scriptures or the Church teaches. The Alma verses referenced specifically refer to the wicked, those who have chosen evil works, and have no part nor portion of the Spirit of God dwelling in them. That does not describe Mother Teresa or the vast majority of Christians (or even non-Christians) doing the best with the knowledge they currently possess. Hell (Outer Darkness) is for a special breed rebellious evildoers.*
  11. They aren't the same: *Hell is like "the hole"/solitary confinement. *Regular Spirit Prison is like a Level 1 (minimum security) yard with all the programs, recreation, and other privileges.
  12. The more I see and hear, the more I'm thinking if this wasn't a hit, it was allowed to happen. Things aren't passing the sniff test.
  13. Somehow this is supposed to put the abysmal performance of security in the better light? Dude had time to reposition, aim, and miss killing Trump by an inch without sniper being alerted to take a shot? They failed pure and simple. Their keystone cop moment doesn't help their case. https://www.foxnews.com/live-news/trump-assassination-shooting-rnc-secret-service-investigation-july15 "2 hour(s) agoPINNED Law enforcement expert dismantles 'cowardly act' narrative, details moment cop confronted shooter A law enforcement expert joined "Fox News @ Night" on Sunday to detail what happened when an officer at former President Trump's Pennsylvania rally allegedly confronted the gunman on a rooftop before the deadly shooting on Saturday. Retired Las Vegas Police Lt. Randy Sutton says the officer was alerted to the gunman, now identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, and was attempting to confront him on the roof, but there was "no ladder" or access point. [If there was "no access point"- how the hell did the shooter get on the roof?! Magic? A flying carpet? Nimbus 2000?] The officer decided to reach Crooks by climbing onto the back of another officer, according to Sutton's sources. "As he was lifting himself up over the roof line, suddenly the suspect pointed his gun at him, the officer ducked down, and when he did, he fell off the back of the other officer," Sutton said. Sutton explained that this was not a situation where an officer committed a "cowardly act," dismantling an earlier report that the officer possibly retreated when he confronted Crooks. "This is an officer who made an observation, saw that he was about to be shot, and fell off the back of the other officer," Sutton said. Fox News' Elizabeth Pritchett contributed to this report"
