why does...

Hi williamgeorge from the UK! You part of the friendly folks at Reachout Trust? I used to spar with them quite often. I sort of lost interest after I got most of them to admit the possibility that I might be saved.

Egads - an evangelical antagonist.

I suppose it might be worth the trouble to educate you. First please tell me exactly what you hope to accomplish by posting this topic here.

Note: my guess is that you lack the fortitude to finish what you've started.

He had no point. ust a hit and run. We should be done with the thread.

PS: Snow, your avatar is soooooo freaky...;)

I think the Monotheistic talk in the Old Testament puts it somewhat at odds with both the Trinitarian and Henotheistic approaches to God. But so what? The entire New Testament revolutionized our approach to God, so that we now follow the teachings of Christ and subsequent revelations.

Ya know, tha man posted the word of God that does state there is only one God. When you see plural in the scriptures it is regarding the Father, Son and Spirit, but they are one, just like you are body soul and spirit and you are one. I know here we go down the whole trinity thing, but traditional thought on the subject is one God. The man posted scripture and it is true. I understand your arguments and your biblical points are also true, just that his thoughts are of a traditional view. I believe in only one God. I have that right as you have your right to what you believe. But, you know what, I think even more important than this subject is that we need to love each other. We need to love our neighbor, even if his belief is opposite of ours. God Bless, Jim

I understand having respect for other beliefs. However, this site IS an LDS site therefore that is the beliefs that we want to see promoted on this site. At the same time being respectful of the beliefs of non LDS. But it goes both ways.

"But it goes both ways"

Yes it does, and well said, Jim

Just so we're clear on this, her name is Pam, not Jim. I don't know who this Jim guy you keep giving a shout-out to is, Jim.

Do you really not understand a signature at the end of a note? Did you see the comma? Jim

.......like that?

:lol::lol: Oh, I understand fine, Jim. But if you notice, there is an option to have a signature line so you don't have to just stick a comma and write your name on the end of a sentence, Jim. It's distracting, Jim. Alternatively, if you aren't sure we kow who you are, Jim, you could hit the 'enter' button a couple times and then write Jim, Jim.

Like this.

Do you understand my point now, Jim? John. It's not obligatory for you to stick your name at the end of every statement, Jim. John. If I ever wondered who you are, Jim, I could just look at the name at the top of the post, John.
