Dr T Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Two BIG thumbs up for UP! Man I loved this movie. Without saying too much about it I do want to say that it is great. It is a funny and touching movie with a great moral. It was a fun movie that I'm happy I took my children to watch. I hope you all do the same. :) Quote
georgia2 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I haven't heard of it..who's in it?me either! is it at the theaters? who made it? Quote

pam Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Oh that looks adorable..Okay I think I did hear about this...Isn't this the one that Ed Asner is the voice of the old guy? Quote
talisyn Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I'm taking my daughter to see it this Friday. My sister is taking her boys to see the Terminator movie. We apparently have different parenting styles Quote
DigitalShadow Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 My wife and I saw it yesterday and loved it, but then again we love just about every Pixar movie, partly because we appreciate the technology that went into them, but mostly because they usually tell an excellent story. This may even be my favorite Pixar movie yet :) Quote
mlbrowninwa Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I too want to see Up. Terminator was excellent as well and I really enjoyed Star Trek. The summer of movies have started. Also saw a preview for Toy Story 3 this past weekend, looking forward to that one as well next year. Quote
Hemidakota Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Any 3D CGI movie is going to be great to watch. Quote
pam Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Okay now I need to go see it though I rarely go to see movies in the theater. This just might have to be an exception. Quote
NeuroTypical Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Isn't this the one that Ed Asner is the voice of the old guy?Isn't that every single movie Ed Asner has ever been in? Quote

Dr T Posted June 5, 2009 Author Report Posted June 5, 2009 Yes Pammy. Do it! === Talisyn-good call. I didn't know what to expect beyond the first preview. The other stuff shows much more of the movie. I just hope you all enjoy it as I did :) Quote
JcDean78 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Terminator has a great moral to it as well. It really does. T2 really fleshed out the plot and moral as well leaving the viewer with a lot to ponder. Don't dismiss it as some action movie is all I am saying. Love Pixar and wanting to see "Up". They have not let us down yet! Quote
Dr T Posted June 7, 2009 Author Report Posted June 7, 2009 I agree with you about Pixar JcDean. I really like their movies. My wife loved the short to start this movie too. I thought it was OK but she thought all of the babies were really really cute. Quote
Winnie G Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 My son came home and said "have the girls been extra good today"? Misshalfway Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 We took the kids over the weekend. It was great! Absolutely brilliant. Quote
Dr T Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 K, this is going to sound silly but I didn't even know it was a 3D movie! We didn't even know! Quote
Jenamarie Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Saw UP today (not in 3D, closest theater with that option was an hour away ) I took my 4 year old. It was an awesome movie! A bit intense for my 4 year old at times, she sat on my lap and I told her "They'll be okay, watch! See? They're okay!" She never seemed really scared, just caught up in the action. And the short at the front was cuuuuuuute! Loved it! Quote
Maureen Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 I and my kids went to see UP. We loved it, it was wonderful! M. Quote
Dr T Posted June 14, 2009 Author Report Posted June 14, 2009 I didn't feel well today and my family almost went and watched it again but the people they were going to go with couldn't go. I'll buy it on DVD later :) Quote
