It's very interesting you should mention that...

My understanding is that small children and older adults are not top priority, as they are considered to be unproductive to society.

I don't care what my boss says, I am productive.

I am not trying to talk you out of it, but I have heard from many sources that people like you, who have had a bout with flue many times would not thin of this as a bad flue.

That is why there is more concern for the young, who have not yet fought a lot of flue in there time.

It will only weaken the immune system when it is not the one currently invading the mortal body. Not only that, if there is a doctor on this forum, may offer their opinion here, there are so many different strains to struggle against and getting it right is like looking for a needle in the haystack. Now, don’t virus morph when they jump hosts?

I don't plan on letting other peoples flu influence me on how hard they might be to me. I was reading an interesting article about why it seems to be hitting fat people harder than other classifications. They had no idea why. Without a doubt I will be in some class that is hit hardest of all and I am not that skinny either.

Is it true that monkeys have an IQ comparable to that of a small child?

Do you plan to get a swine flu shot?

A bit of trivia...'tis the Chinese year of the pig.

I was born in the year of the pig, does that mean I'm immune?

I'm getting the flu shot anyways. At least that will be one virus I won't get :P

Oh and Hemi, they are saying it has a very low mutating rate for some reason. Odd but good if you are wanting a vaccine that will cover the bases. :D

So you saying, that no virus from one host doesn't mutant when entering another host and the one vaccine will cover it?

Hemi, I am saying that I read a report that said it had a lower than usual mutation rate for flu type virus's. Because of that it is more likely that the flu you are exposed to will be close enough to the one that vaccine was made for to do you some good.

Speak for yourself. My inner child in an old body seems to produce much mischief.

Now, this is reason I would not bother taking a shot. The chance of getting the right vaccine to match the current virus is not going to happen. :D

There will be a global killer pandemic virus where many will die, adding more deaths to the list by thanking the logic of those of this land working with the CDC in providing a claimed vaccine. It was better for them to listen to the Spirit in not taking the vaccine, which will weaken there own immune system. Food for thought when it occurs.;)
