pam Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Okay for an upcoming interview I have to take a letter from my name and use it to describe me. So I'm willing to take suggestions from the group. Just be nice. hahahahaha So P A M E L A are the letters. Quote
pam Posted November 3, 2009 Author Report Posted November 3, 2009 Pale and Ben. Notice there is no "O" for old. Dang it..but there are 2 "a"s. I'm setting myself up. Quote
Iggy Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Pleasant Able Masterful Efficient Loyal Agreeable Quote
pam Posted November 3, 2009 Author Report Posted November 3, 2009 Thanks Iggy. Luckily I only have to choose one letter. I'd never come up with something for all of them. Quote
Moksha Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Pam, I assume you would want the letter to represent a positive quality you have in abundance. If you are a patient person, how about patient for the letter P. Quote
Wingnut Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Patient Amiable Mother Exemplary Light-hearted (I'm looking for some way to incorporate sense of humor and wit, and this seems to work) Accessible (as in, there for people) (I restrained myself from saying "ancient" -- I'll leave that to Pale and Ben :)) Quote
hordak Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I thought you meant like an anagram First word that i saw was lame.:) No hard feelings. Think of it as a nice way of saying old:p only other ones i could find were lama and map. I don't have a very extensive vocabulary Quote
pam Posted November 3, 2009 Author Report Posted November 3, 2009 No not an anagram. Actually for "L" my son came up with lunatic. Quote
Elphaba Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) Peripatetic (at least you are on the board) Ambitious Managerial Empathetic Laconic Ascendant Okay, ascendent might be a bit much for a job interview, but it got stuck in my head, and as I figured you only needed one "A" I left it in there anyway. Is this seriously a job interview question? Good luck!!!! Elph Edited November 3, 2009 by Elphaba Quote

I'm just trying to be prepared. I guess in the group interview they went around the group and everyone had to respond to this question. Quote

beefche Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 You need something that will capture their attention. Humor is the best way. P = pumpkin. I like pumpkin blizzards from Dairy Queen and my dad called me pumpkin. A = all terrain vehicle--I am afraid of them since I fell off one when it was in park. M = M&M's. Love them! I get the plain ones since there's more in a bag. M = Mickey Mouse--I just returned from Disneyland which is truly the happiest place on earth. Y = ya'll. Such a better word to use to denote plural "you"--better than "yous". Quote

prisonchaplain Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 How about A is for Anchored...as in, you are centered, confident, have clear values, have flexibility to entertain different notions without feeling threatened, etc. Now anchored would not work for me because people would immediately think of gravity's effect on me... Quote
pam Posted November 3, 2009 Author Report Posted November 3, 2009 hahaha unfortunately gravity is having it's effect on me as well. Quote
