Guest mormonmusic Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 I'd like to see an OOZY (correct my spelling, it's a big gun that fires bombs) at the post. Quote

Gwen Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 we need a "troll" and if a single posts gets enough then it automatically soft deletes and sends a report for the mods. like you see in the comment area of articles "comment deleted due to low rating". Quote
Guest mormonmusic Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Or maybe -- a How Spiritual button for posts that bring on the Spirit. Quote
Bini Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 We need a .. • "Drama Queen" button for members that are overly dramatic • "Soap Box" button for members that preach to the choir • "Yada-Yada-Yada" button for members that think they know everything and push their opinion on others • "MOOO!" button for BULLies Quote

Mahone Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 we need a "troll" and if a single posts gets enough then it automatically soft deletes and sends a report for the mods. like you see in the comment area of articles "comment deleted due to low rating".In order for that to work, it'd need to work in conjunction with another button that did the opposite, a bit like a thanks button, but anonymous. Otherwise you could get a small group of people ganging up on certain posters, without any way for those who agree with what the poster said to do anything about it.I know of other vbulletin forums that have a "reputation" mod installed. It works on a system very similar to this. You can give negative reputation anonymously, along with a reason, to the posters you don't like. You can also give positive reputation anonymously to those posters you do like. The thanks button also adds reputation, just not anonymously. A users current reputation is listed under their username. A user has to have a positive reputation in order to be able to give others any kind of reputation. It works quite well. Quote
FairChild Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 I want a "DANGER, DANGER!! Will Robinson!" button to directly link my computer to Mahone's so that anytime I had a puter problem, I can get Mahone's attention so that he could fix my puter immdiately. Quote
