beefche Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 My company's thanksgiving luncheon is tomorrow--lots of great food to be had! So, I was trying to decide if I should wear my girly shirt (it's more form fitting) or if I should wear one of my t-shirts. What do you suggest? Quote
Dravin Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Girly shirt, no question about it. Flirt your way to the top Beef. Quote
Jenamarie Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Girly shirt, deffinately. :) (just don't spill any gravy on it. ) Quote
jennvan Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 NO, you want to be able to eat to your hearts content if there is lots of good food. Less form fitting is better. :) Quote
pam Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Wow she really did it. A triple dog dare has been fulfilled. I'm proud of you beef. :) Quote
Dravin Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Now she just needs to come back and report how which advice she followed and how it went. Quote
rameumptom Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I guess the shirt depends on whether you want to eat lots of good food, or score points with the bosses in order to get a big Christmas bonus..... Quote
pam Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Just don't wear one at all and problem is solved. Quote
mnn727 Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I always thought your were male. Quote
pam Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 Perhaps instead of the form fitting hoochie mama kind of look, a t-shirt would be more appropriate. We want people to judge you on the correct kind of talents. Quote
NeuroTypical Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 I think I remember her explaining it once. Beefche = beef ('cuz she likes critters that moo) + she ('cuz she's a she.) Quote
pam Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 For those that know her personally..it's an entirely different reason. Quote
beefche Posted November 18, 2010 Author Report Posted November 18, 2010 I always thought your were male. Oh the comments..... Quote
beefche Posted November 18, 2010 Author Report Posted November 18, 2010 For those that know her personally..it's an entirely different reason.Did you just call me a heifer? Quote
beefche Posted November 18, 2010 Author Report Posted November 18, 2010 I think I remember her explaining it once. Beefche = beef ('cuz she likes critters that moo) + she ('cuz she's a she.)Thanks for trying LM, but no candy cigar.Beef is part of my name. "Che" (pronounced chay) is a Bulgarian diminuitive meaning "little" or "endearing". Quote
pam Posted November 18, 2010 Report Posted November 18, 2010 For those that know her personally..it's an entirely different reason. Now darlin' here use my glasses. Do you see the word heifer in any of this sentence? Quote
rameumptom Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 I personally know beefche, and she is neither a cow nor a man. She does have a very sparkling and bubbly personality..... Quote
Dravin Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 I personally know beefche, and she is neither a cow nor a man. She does have a very sparkling and bubbly personality.....Is that a round about way of calling her gassy? Quote
bl8tant Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 So, how was the luncheon? Get any good... recipes? Quote
beefche Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Posted November 22, 2010 Yep, bl8tant, I did. This yummy corn thing--I guess you could call it creamed corn. It's frozen corn, butter, cream and creamed cheese. It looked a little weird to me, but I'm adventurous enough to try most anything--glad I did. It was yummy! Quote
Just_A_Guy Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 This yummy corn thing. . . It was yummy! Some of us could have foreseen this affinity. Quote
Roseslipper Posted November 22, 2010 Report Posted November 22, 2010 Id go with the t shirt its more comfy. Unless its dress up. Have a great time @ the party, do tell us about it, and what u desided to wear. hehe :) Quote
MichaelCraig Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 What about the shirt? Isn't it sweater season. I love when my wife wears turtleneck sweaters......YEEOOOWWEEEEEEE!!!! Quote
Bini Posted November 23, 2010 Report Posted November 23, 2010 Sooo.. What did you end up doing!? Did you already say and I missed it? I know this is old news now but just for the records, I would have voted for the loose shirt. As pointed out, you can eat as much as you like without your gut busting through a tightly fitted blouse!
