Never guess that he did it? Or never guess that he would confess? :D

I do have to comment though, that it is amazing how power corrupts people to the point where they think their sexual deviancy tendencies won't be noticed by the masses. You would think that there should be yearly training sessions they would be required to attend that address these specific types of behaviors and tell them and their staffs that they are not acceptable nor tolerable. The punishment should be immediate resignation and the nullification of all their votes dating back one year.

I just start laughing like Beevis everytime they say his name.

Sadly, we no longer have statesmen in Washington DC. Today we have politicians who want to be royalty, or worse, rock stars. For them, their sins are their own business, and they should be considered above the little people regarding whatever they wish to do. I mean, if Prince Charles can be a philanderer and not have to deal with the press regarding it, why cannot a Congressman from Queens also have such a benefit?

You know, I was thinking how this was like those teens who sext. Teens don't always think of the future ramifications of their actions. "My bf would never show anyone else those pics!" Or "I accidently sent it to another friend, but she would never share that." I think this congressman thought the same thing. "Let me send her this...I trust her to never reveal them to the public."

Or is it that he thinks he is above the condemnation of the people? Does power corrupt so much that all reasonable thought is discarded? "I was voted in, my constituants won't turn their backs on me no matter what I do."

I don't get it.

We're not all complete idiots, shocking I know. Although I think people (not just teenagers) have trouble realizing how open cyberspace really is. Once its sent, its sent. it's no longer "just yours'. It can be used against you. I see drama over facebook messages even among adults and I often wonder if they would say these things if there wasn't a screen to 'protect' them. They probably wouldn't.

Never said all teens were complete idiots. So, no, I'm not shocked.

I do wish people would keep the drama offline. I am friends with a husband and wife on facebook - not members of any church, they are both atheists - not that that has anything to do with this, lol. But when they have fights - it is all over facebook between their two accounts, trying to get friends to choose sides, etc. It is tiresome and emotionally draining. What is really sad is these two have 4 precious adorable children.
