My vote is that it's a perfectly good piece of music but not my favorite. Not that I'm highly conversant with music from the baroque period, but there are other things I'd rather listen too. Like Little Fugue in G minor (tis a nice little piece and I like organs) and Brandenburg Concerto no. 5, or Messiah.

It's a good piece of music to hear for the first, 2nd, or 3rd time. The chord progression is repetitive (a standard chaconne), but has influenced so many songs that are popular today. I think it's great, just not if you hear it all the time.

Just go with the trans siberian version :P
