HEthePrimate Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 Christmas music started going through my head this afternoon. This happened last week, too! Mind you, I like Christmas a lot, but I also like Thanksgiving, and am adamantly opposed to skipping Thanksgiving and going straight to Christmas. But let's face it, Christmas has better music. Quote
MorningStar Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 As long as it wasn't that horrible, horrible Christmas Shoes song, I support it. Quote
annewandering Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 There has to be a good thanksgiving song. really. hmmmm somewhere. Quote
bytebear Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 I don't like that Christmas now starts before Thanksgiving. I think each holiday should have it's own time. And I miss the explosion of Christmas after the the Thanksgiving holiday. Now it just creeps in slowly, like a zombie. Quote
LittleWyvern Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 So, the War on Thanksgiving is the new War on Christmas? Quote
annewandering Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 I dont even like the holiday season any more. The songs not so much but about everything else does. Its just no fun anymore. Quote
Suzie Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 Thanksgiving rocks! And I refuse to listen to any Christmas songs or wear my favorite sweater until after Thanksgiving. Quote

pam Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 As long as it wasn't that horrible, horrible Christmas Shoes song, I support it. We aren't going to debate that one again THIS year are we? Because I like it. Quote
JudoMinja Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 I don't know if anyone noticed this where they live, but in my area this year they started putting out Christmas decorations and supplies before Halloween. It's bad enough they want to skip Thanksgiving, now they're trying to skip TWO holidays? Next thing we know, the Christmas stock will be going up in July. Quote
annewandering Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 They were up here before Halloween as well. Now they are full fledged out. Next week they will be sold out. arg. Quote
