[Traveler]

My impressions is not at all what most depict as Satan. I see him as very hansom, charming and witty. If you were to meet him face to face - I believe he would come across and a rather pleasant person - well dressed and with perfect manners. He would be like your best friend - until you dropped your guard.

I think if you were to look in his eyes you would see him for what he is. Pure evil with a side of selfishness and hatred! I'm sure he would try to come around with honey toned speach and very tempting offers to be friends. What most people would think as harmless would be shocking when the snake bites. However, we all knew he was a snake before picking him up!

I'd think satin to look what he was like in Ghost Rider, an adverage looking person dressed sort of dark. Maybe an old man. He'd deffinitally have some sort of dark feeling auroa when you walk by him and maybe some kind of evil gleam in his eyes. but who am i to say what he looks like for sure?

Empty Darkness, the absence of light.

Here is a nice little joke that fits.

One bright, beautiful Sunday morning, everyone in tiny Smithville wakes up early and goes to their local church. Before the service starts, the townspeople sit in their pews and talk about their lives, their families, etc.

Suddenly, at the altar, Satan appears!! Everyone starts screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in their determined efforts to get away from Evil Incarnate.

Soon, everyone is evacuated from the church except for one man, who sit calmly in his pew, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy is in his presence. This confuses Satan a bit.

Satan walks up to the man and says, "Hey, don't you know who I am?"

The man says, "Yep, sure do."

Satan says, "Well, aren't you afraid of me?"

The man says, "Nope, sure ain't."

Satan, perturbed, says, "And why aren't you afraid of me?"

"Well, I've been married to your sister for 25 years."

My mom said once that she had a very real dream about him and that he approached her. She said he was the best looking man she had ever seen -- could hardly take her eyes off of him. Said that his voice was the most kindest voice, but she said while his eyes were beautiful they were also hollow. That image has always stuck with me.

I believe that it was Brigham Young or perhaps John Taylor/Wilford Woodruff that stated that Satan was a gentlemen, good looking, silver tongued, etc.

My question, though: who cares? I don't want to be anything like him anyway, so what do I care what he is like? I'm still trying to figure out what Christ is like and be like him...

let's not be sexist here, i very much thought he looked something like my husband's ex. however her husband is pretty bad............ ............ she did once call hubby the spawn of satan it's all so confusing
