A dearth of new forum members?

This forum seemed to be attracting a steady stream of new members during June and July but I notice that the last new member came on board in late July and there has been no one since then. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be?

I don't know where you are getting your facts but you are simple wrong about the last new member being July.

The last new member who is actively posting joined a about week ago (and by active I mean 12 posts in that week)

I think you might get your idea from the Introduction forum where people can introduce themselves.

You are right that the last introductions were done in July. This is because I had done away with this particular forum (due to direction higher than me) and just recently brought it back. So those that have joined since July have not been able to officially introduce themselves.

But we have had numerous people join since then.  You just can't tell because of the date of the last post on the introduction forum.

But as a side note, those joining lds.net now aren't necessarily joining to participate in the forums.  They may want to participate in the article side with comments etc.  They do have to have an account to do that.

I could start posting controversial strings that skirt the political limits, or push theological boundaries, if that would help. I'm just here to serve. :fireball:

Don't toy with my emotions like that.
