Sunday21 Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 Pleased to have you! My ward has some members from your country. They told us about the extensive Christmas traditions with ongoing parties. Sounds fun! Quote

askandanswer Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) There are a few people on this site who served their mission in the Philippines. My nephew is currently serving in the Quezon City Mission. Edited December 10, 2015 by askandanswer Quote

prisonchaplain Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) I'll never forget the three months I spent on exchange in the Philippines. There's probably only one city in that great land that a Seattlite, like myself, could enjoy--Bagiou City! It's way up in the mountains, so it was "only" in the 70s (in January). Such an amazing thing to wake up, walk out of the dorm room, and look down on the clouds. I doubt there are any atheists in Bagiou City, with all that mountain beauty surrounding them. All that to say--welcome! Edited July 4, 2016 by prisonchaplain Quote
