Dr. T, Thanks! So does my mom! Now she doesn't like a bought at the store card. Since she saves it for her scrapebook.....I always date it too. :)

I usually make my mom a personalized Mother's Day card with my computer. It has my own pictures and words of thanks for all that she has done for me over the years on it. I also give her a gift. Then we go to church. After the service, I take her to dinner.

I got confused and lost after I read looking forward to cleaning. I don't understand what you mean - it makes no sense. When you're all healed SF, do you want to come over to my house? :) M. I think that what Maureen is sayings is that "looking forward" and "cleaning" is like water and oil...they don't mix very well.....lol......but if you find joy in "cleaning".......she has a project for you when your wrist heals! Come to think of it.....so do I!!!......lol....good luck with the project.

Dale, I think you are on the right track! You can't pressure someone into believing the things that you do. At best you'll simply drive them away.

I was looking for a good, clean LDS message board. One that could provide both light hearted discussion and also a more serious respectful discussion on LDS beliefs. There were a few times that I almost quit after a round of fighting, but the present moderating team does an outstanding job to make everyone feel welcome. :) I've learned a great deal about: human nature, news stories, sources for LDS materials, jokes, good books and movies and friendly chat. I have an active life...so I try to manage my time....to make the most of it....but it is sure nice to drop into LDSTalk and check on the family! It's better than curling up by the fire with a book....and that's not bad either...lol.

My favorite cold drink is lemonade...the real stuff with at least 15% real lemon juice. Cherry limeade isn't bad either.I also enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice, apple juice and grape juice. For me milk does the body good too! I'm nearly always in a very good happy mood.....just a natural high on life...so I have no desire to be drugged even in a mild way with alcohol, coffee or tea.... and certainly not by the use of any illegal drugs. Smoking is just plain nasty!

For one thing, didn't know Lindy was planning on getting married until it was announced on the wedding day! And it's also difficult to question a person's decision when they haven't made one yet. M. Lol.... I guess that women don't have a monopoly on intuition then. If you would have read Lindy's blog post Sept. 9th it hints at something and she calls it "Friends". But the real clincher is her post on Sept. 18th called "Happy Days". When I read it on Sept. 22nd....I replied and sent her "Best Wishes"! Look at Mop's blog on Sept. 30th..."Let me be the one" or Oct. 15th "You...By Me Lol " and also read the replies to these post and see the romance build!

Something to think about! Lindy has been a member of LDSTalk for sometime and made several friends, but the time to question her judgment was before she decided to get married. Once she made that decision ....to get married .........then those of you that consider her to be a friend, should have been happy for her and wished her the best.....Remember that she is a "big girl" now and is more than capable of making rational decisions on her own. Some of you remind me of a troublesome, meddling mother-in-law...IMO...that kind of behavior has driven Lindy away from here.......especially when all she wanted was to share her joy with what she thought were her friends at the time! I know that your comments were meant to be in her best interest and were offered out of concern, but I feel that Lindy and Mop have been deeply hurt by all of this and I offer my sincere apologies.
