I agree quite a bit with the idea in the OP a lot of the test will be finding out and proving ourselves more for the benefit of us rather than the benefit of God. But the merit of knowledge or foreknowledge does not outweigh the requirements of Justice. Even if we knew with perfectness how we would behave in every single situation and pressure in the future we would still have to go through with this.

while that's still an option that method gets trickier and trickier to pull off without breaking something, and the more complex something is, the more time consuming it is as well as more likely for something to go wrong. On that premise one could argue that the FBI are seeking a much easier/faster route. they could extract and copy the whole hard drive to another piece of equipment and brute force with that method, but would have to make another copy any time the copy scrambled itself.

to the OP good question. our relationship to God won't ever change in that aspect. Will at some point an exalted being recieive such worship? It's not said in the scriptures. But such a thing would seem to be logical if one assumes that one can progress to the point to being exactly like God. Does receiving such worship change one's relationship to God? I don't think it would - Does how many followers who worship Christ change his relationship to his Father? I don't see anything on if, who, and how many worship Christ would change his position or relationship with the Father. In all things regarding perfection, Christ is the example to look to... altho granted between different cultures can add different biases and filters that can affect how one sees him and intrepret what they see. perhaps the closest i can see in earthly earthly is both how authority is handled in the church as well as the family unit.

On the highest security setting, it does a security delete of all user data and apps. (ie its scrambles all the pertinent data rather than just rewriting file location info)

If apple creates a piece of software that can work around all the major security on its products, thats pretty much a time bomb for the company. avoid teflon or something similar. Go for cast iron for pans, on pots it's not quite so bad but you'll want something that has a good handle and lid. My familly had those copper coated bottom pots and those have been in use for well over 20 years.

Go for it. altho it will likely act as filter of sorts overall those who have bias against LDS will likely avoid it, those who are biased towards LDS will likely gravitate towards it. You never know till you do try it tho. If you are desiring missionary experiences then I'd vote for it.

I was under the impression that there was a law to some extent or the other that if you develop encryption that you more or less had to give the gov some sort of key to it. my thoughts this is mostly posturing on apples part. they've done that sort of thing in the past. I find that pennies eventually add up to dollars... no matter how small the penny or how large the dollar. One memorable experience i had was in a discussion as to whether the body was designed or not or something like that at one point an athiest asked what was the purpose of the appendix at which point i didn't really have an answer for.... but the about 2 days later a research paper was published about the appendix in that it played a role in fighting off bacteria.
