  1. Fox, wolf, cheetah, ocelot, or some of the bigger cats. It'd be awesome to care for such. Not quite like dogs. they definitely have their own unique behaviors.... altho if you get one of the siberian experiment ones, they have more behaviors like dogs than do other species. The siberian ones are the closest to being domesticated, all others are tamed ones. the biggest issues people have with them is they tend to have more destructive tendencies and if you want an indoor fox it takes more training as well as a real high maintenance to avoid the smell. the other really really really big issue is there isn't any current way to test or cure for rabies in foxes that aren't terminal.
  2. when cultures mingle, ideas are shared, especially when an individual transfers from one culture to the other.
  3. Sadly that seems to be the way for most issues now.
  4. No idea. He doesn't say why just 10% rather than something else. Were I to guess, it's an easy number to deal with, and its a small one.
  5. it depends how you go about it. If you are questioning your faith in the way that you see your stumbling blocks and wish to over come them, then that is good. However if you are questioning the faith by way of nitpicking so you can get out of duties and responsibilities, then that is bad. basically it comes down to what your focus and purpose for doing so is. but if you are not willing to go through any fire that god has prepared for you then you may want to wait on questioning, and work on your humility before God. In all things seek his spirit.
  6. Thank you, I hope that it was Good fo you as well!. Thank you for sharing what it means, it would be a good tradition to pick up.
  7. Answer Since it's the 2 liter bottle that is marked, it is then the bottle that is used for everything- IF the two liter bottle is over half full, then it has to be emptied till it is at half and then punch poured in to filling. OR if the bottle is so designed for it, measure how much lemonade there is, freeze and remove it, then pour in punch equivalent to the lemonade and dump the rest of the punch and then put everything back in the bigger jug. IF the two liter bottle is less than half then your pour in punch only to the amount that it takes to double what was originally in the two liter bottle.
  8. My guess is it is due mostly with culture more than anything else... at least in the US there tends to be pressure against it. As it is seen more as a pride, rebellion, or unhygenic sort of connotation sort of thing then ya it would likely be discouraged. Sort of something similar with dress standards. For culture influence that's the way that US business culture has evolved- if you wanted a job, you got dressed up, cleaned up and looking your best and for some reason or another "looking your best" came to involve being shaved among other things, so now that is part of "respecting" something.
  9. welcome, welcome!. wishing the best for ya.
  10. well welcome, hope you get a moment's respite.
  11. marvel and DC are trying to out-dark each other. both of them need aroundtheworld super atomic wedgies.
  12. It's kind of sad to see how wrapped we are in competition to each other. This recent part of the thread strongly reminded me of this parable: Matthew 20: 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. 2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. 8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. 9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. 11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house, 12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. 13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? 16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
  13. whups, Vorts right >.<. Sorry I've been dealing with some cold or something this past this past week that's been messing with me a lot.
  14. if you force poeple to raise wages, 9 times out of 10 they'll make up the loss of income in other ways, ie firings or raising the prices of goods. the one guy who decided to raise the minimum wage in his company significantly (mostly at the cost of his income) had half of the company walk out on him.
  15. 1) H2O gets broken up in the upper atmosphere, the hydrogen leaves earth more or less and the remaining oxygen forms the Ozone layer. CO2 bonds with the oxygen in the upper layers which prevents the formation of the ozone layer. at lower layers co2 not only traps heat but will also trap other chemicals. h20 recycles quicker, whereas c02 only gets recycled through plants. 2) we really don't have solid proof of that, but they are two extremes one of too much and one of too little- either which is theorised goes into self destructive cycle. altho with mars a contributor to its loss of atmosphere and heat is that it lacks a uniform magnetic field 3) it's proposed that man has assisted the most recent warming. but man isn't the only source. this is more of case of erring on the safe side. 4) only to a point. you still need water and and the right temperature. affecting one variable tends to have affects on the other variables.... but also we are removing more plants than replacing and chemical dumps can kill (green) algae which are the largest recycler of CO2 by far. It's problem in that if average temperatures change enough for long enough you'll end up with different weather patterns which is bad for farming. 5) the science I've seen doesn't place as THE guilty party, just a contributing one... and since human behavior is modifiable that is what is tended to focused on; ie if we can eliminate our contribution supposedly things will get back into the natural swing of things. as for who pays- that depends on which organization. i don't doubt that taxes are involved tho. 6) because in the end we do not have any sovereignity over other nation/states and the only way to really make them follow the rules or guidelines for sure would be to conquer them.
  16. greetings looking forward to your questions
  17. greetings and yes we can be pretty crazy sometimes ;P Sometimes it takes patience, sometimes God is going to have you go around first. I know people who had spend years really striving with God to find it, and others who got it before they even saw the Book of Mormon. Be true to God and put him first. and welcome I'd be happy to answer questions to what I can do so.
  18. greetings and welcome will do.
  19. I agree; they are not written in stone and brought to us from mount sinai.... but these are from prophets. Whose job is to be as the watchman upon the tower to warn us of the enemy. When you go against these you are putting yourself in harms way and in a position where the spirit will leave you.
  20. Looks interesting
  21. The "game" is used for all sorts of venues. depends on who's hosting what server or world. It's a decent way to host an online live classroom.
  22. I was cheering when I heard this.
  23. still has to beat out the freak hailstorm/snow thing we got in june years back tho.
  24. LOL.... but considering all the crap that happens in virtual realms this is actually probably one of the better venues one can find. If one is going to play a game, might as well as have something good in it. PS. this does not mean i'm endorsing it.
