Folks, I broke my toilet. Boiling water and detergent caused the porcelain to crack the bowl. Now I have to buy a new toilet!

What is a flower? something that, after you have watered it, talked to it, fertilized it, pruned it, and loved it, dies. What is a weed? Something that after you have dug it up, sworn at it, stomped on it, poisoned it, lives and thrives.

Homosexual journey through the Mormon church

Ummmh...my ward had a barbecue and my bishop came dressed in a hula skirt and believe me he was very very happy with himself! -
Also lds leaders do not condemn abortion in all circumstances. In situations of incest and rape, abortion is acceptable. Hopefully no lds people are picketing abortion clinics.

46% of lds disapprove of stem-cell research? Why? If you put 'stem cell research' into lds.org, you get a statement that the lds church abstains. Don't know why lds people disapprove.

I used white out to transform my white keds sneakers into temple shoes! White out all over the blue tags. So proud of myself!

I see your point but this type of research can be helpful. I worked with a group of abused women and the counsellors regularly recommended that the women reconnect with their churches. This advice was in part based on research indicating that a faith community offers valuable social support.

Companies that have factory outlets produce two lines of goods: high quality for the stores and low quality for the factory outlet. a lot of research is just plan wrong. Not reported truthfully, not carried out properly

Oh please! Anyone who can help Isaiah will have an audience!

I was called to work in the temple. Temple workers and a temple president's wife (matron's counsellor?) had gently suggested that I serve. I did not volunteer because my delivery is clumsy. I was called and my heart sank. Sunday the under achiever dragging down everyone else. On the day of my setting apart, I finally got it! Almost perfect. Just goes to show that more than half of the performance is the Holy Ghost!

Good to have you here!

Invite the missionaries over for dinner...instant family!

i went to the temple for the first time on my own...because I live in one of the most disorganized outposts of the church..I was fine! But yeah, going with a friend from your home ward who has attended the temple prep class with you would be ideal! But if not possible, you will be fine.

Oh...come on! Tell us! I would say over a year. But pray about it first and fast (if doctor says you can)...and of course tell your friends every little detail!
-
yeah for you! I have an interview to be a temple worker on Saturday!

How can you tell if the still small voice is from G-d?

Thank you for this insight. I will ponder this. -
How can you tell if the still small voice is from G-d?

Dear Bros & Sis's, You are working late at the office. You hear a still small voice say, "you should go home". Is this voice? -the HG,- your lazy self,- Satan, trying to disrupt your creative flow. I have read the book above and it does not offer any useful tools, that at my admittedly novice experience of the gospel, are useful for working out the answer. I am not allowed to fast. I pray but who knows if the answers that I receive are from HF, myself or Satan. How can one know? I have read articles about revelation but although the articles have titles that address the question, the content of the articles do not tell you what to do. -
Dear Ms. Parakeet, Thank you for this quote. I really needed that quote today! My math is behaving badly!
