  1. " I believe it is a personal decision that should be left to the women and their doctors " -Donald Trump
  2. Here's why some Christians I've talked to won't pick between the two major candidates. I have talked to some people that say that they can't vote for Trump because of personal conviction. They feel like, as Christians, they can't support someone who is in favor of killing babies in the womb, talks about (and debatebly does) grope women, etc. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with people that say they won't vote for Trump because of this. That's between them and God.
  3. I am not trying to get you to say that you worship Satan. I was just trying to understand what @Traveler meant. This terminology must have been what confused me. I actually am a hermit crab. There was a mutation that made it so that I have thumbs. That's how I'm typing. Thanks for clarifying.
  4. It is highly unlikely, but it's worth a try. Where I think his plan will fail is in step 2. Based on electoral predictions, this election will be a landslide. I would be surprised if Trump even got to 200 electoral votes. In any case, a McMullin presidency would be awesome and he's got my support.
  5. So you're saying that he was a g-d (lower case g) but no longer is?
  6. I understand eternal progression (even if I don't agree with it) but @Traveler said that a cherub was a type of g-d. Because the Bible says that Satan was a cherub, I assume that he is saying that the word cherub refers to Satan as a g-d (in his interpretation of the word cherub). I understand that he is not saying that Satan has anything to do with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  7. Stalin killed somewhere between 35 and 50 million people. George W Bush probably killed around 100 million. (sarcastic)
  8. So, you are saying that Satan was a g-d?
  9. I do believe He was both fully man and fully God. Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. John 1 also talks about how the Word (Jesus) became flesh.
  10. I looked at poll numbers from each state and calculated the electoral votes. Trump didn't even come close, and that was before all of this stuff came out about him being a pervert. What Trump has done is far beyond anything John McCain ever did, and they have video proof. If you don't believe me, look at the polls. @Carborendum and I don't always see eye to eye, but this time we do. Trump will lose. Just wait and see.
  11. When I was growing up, my mom and sister would always melt cheese and put it on rice. They loved it but I've never tried it. Maybe it's worth a try, but cheesey rice just always seemed kind of strange. Does anyone else do this? Or is it just something weird my family did?
  12. I don't know if you live in Utah, but those of us that do should vote for McMullin, because if he wins Utah, it could force both candidates to fall short of 270. In this case, it goes to the senate. If it ties in the senate, the house of representatives gets to pick the president. If they really hate Trump, which they do, they'll pick McMullin. It's a long shot and it is definitely wishful thinking, but at this point, it's the only hope we have.
  13. Let's face the facts. Trump is a pervert. If it doesn't violate your conscience to vote for a pervert, then... I don't even know what to say. However, Hillary is worse in regard to policy. I'll be thinking and praying a lot before I vote, but I can't picture myself voting for either one. At this point, I like McMullin.
  14. Clinton will win. As much as I don't like it, this election will be more of a landslide than the last one. I like McMullin, but no third party ever has a chance at winning. The electoral map is so democrat that no matter how many angry Bernie fans (or angry commies) there are, she will win far more than 270 votes.
  15. I agree with what you've said on the thread. I don't think we should resort to name-calling either. I liked your psychological flaw comment. I'm not saying this discredits anyone's argument on anything. You know I have a lot of respect for you
  16. The problem with a multi-party system is that it is quite likely that a minority of people will pick the president for the rest of us. Let's say there's three parties: A, B, C, and D. A gets 25% of the vote, B gets 30%, C gets 20%, and D gets 25%. B becomes president even though less than a third of people wanted him. This is why it's best to have two parties, like Republicans and Democrats. Thankfully America is this way. However, if we were all forced to pick between Trump and Hillary, it would be better because Johnson is taking around 9% and Stein around 2%. The other 35,000,000 people (if everyone voted) could make a big difference. It would be a more accurate election. In any case, with many jumping ship on the Republican party, there's a push for a multi-party system. This would not work in America.
  17. Very interesting. Because there's multiple videos from different parts of Jerusalem, it can't be one computer generated video. This has to have really happened. However, I have no idea what it means.
  18. We can go back and forth on who is worse morally: Donald Trump or Bill Clinton, but the key is that neither of these guys are the role model that our president should be. We need to elect someone where kids can say, "I want to be like him (or her) someday." We need people who not only can fix the country, but people that we can be proud of as a symbol of America. The president is supposed to someone we can all look up to as a leader. The problem is that neither of the two remaining candidates fit this description.
  19. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of McCain, but I have respect for anyone who risks their life for our country, especially POWs.
  20. And Trump who insulted Veterans with PTSD... not to mention insulting John McCain, a war hero.
  21. Trump epitomizes politician profile. He tells people what they want to hear so that he can get votes. He won't really build a wall. He won't really deport all of the illegals. And most importantly, he won't make America great again. It's all political rhetoric.
  22. For my funeral, I'd like to request "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen or "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees.
  23. Maybe we should just have a drawing and whoever wins could be president. It would be like getting picked for jury duty, except with a little more responsibility. How much worse could it possibly be than our candidates now? The only problem is that it would give Trump a better chance of winning because there would still be a 1/319,000,000 chance. Whereas now, his chance is 0.
