  1. I am completely dependent on my GPS for work at least the first few times I go to a particular home. I have some homes that I have been going to for about six months that I still have to turn it on towards the end of the trip there because there are so many different roads and dirt roads in the area. I’m sure @MormonGator and my boss are much happier knowing I can get home or back to the office from no matter where I am because I know how to use it. Also hearing the directions is less distracting than trying to read a map and drive. 🙂
  2. So I don’t post much because of the crazy hours I work. I’m a social worker and I spend my days going in and out of peoples’ homes. In doing this trust me athletic type clothing I would consider modest compared to how some dress when they open the door to me, and they know I’m scheduled to be there.
  3. Lol nice, but I'm not telling yet...
  4. I know the answer, but I'm not telling. Mine: 1. I've met professional wrestler The Undertaker. 2. I've preformed in Gillette Stadium 3. I once had my car searched by the Canadian border patrol and was detained by them for two hours.
  5. I'm with you. Yuk!
  6. Yes, sorry I have been slacking! Sorry!! Hi everyone!
  7. Yes, like he said I LOVE DCI, I marched an all age corps for 8 years or so before moving to the south. My favorite corps are Phantom and Scouts. Anyone else have favorites?
  8. @BeccaKirstyn I do appreciate that people try their hardest, and know it's voluntary, it was merely the ramblings of a distracted band geek.
  9. What sort of bugs me is when the person conducting has no idea how to conduct. Being a band geek who knows how to play and follow the conductor, when they don't have a clue it is bothersome to me.
  10. Yes I do, so if you don't hear from @MormonGator for a few days I know nothing. I also love the show Bates Motel on A&E, in case you don't watch horror it is based around the movie Psycho. And it isn't on until 10:00 at night with good reason. It is definitely not family friendly, but if you're like me and like suspense and horror stuff it's a really good show. Sadly it's in the final season...
  11. I have a couple... I Know That My Redeemer Lives How Great Thou Art Nearer My God to Thee I Stand All Amazed The Iorn Rod Holy Night I also have a couple that aren't LDS specifically, Love Divine, and Onward Christian Soldiers
  12. @zil you should see some of the women that walk around here, I am guessing we will need to make up another room soon. That's the reason he's out there ?
  13. Umm... @zil did you not read the memo that ink in the skin is a requirement for the family??? (Please take note that the ink can not be just ON the skin, it must be IN the skin, just a friendly reminder) ?
  14. I would prefer he didn't sing at all. Maybe one of the others will listen to it...@zil you up for it??
  15. Okay, I'm going to be honest and say that I might repeat some things that others have said because I skimmed and didn't read everything word for word. That being said, I wonder how much of the concern is "cold feet" more than money for the future. When @MormonGator and I were engaged (we were not members at the time) never once was our career path a source of dispute. We both were going to get jobs and work hard to bring home enough money to meet our needs. To this day I don't care what the profession is as long as it makes us happy and we budget to work with what we have. Just my two cents.
  16. As @MormonGator said my father has been involved with Freemasons since I was a kid, (not the kind with horns) and I have been involved with the Masonic youth groups since I was old enough to be a member. I have never seen anything that links them to Satanism. As far as the "secrecy" goes, yes the really old members don't want you to see what is in their books and some have scared the few younger members into believing that no one should see it. But to be perfectly honest as a convert when I first went to the Temple seeing some of the same symbols was almost comforting to me. I know that might seem silly, but no one claimed that I was normal. :-)
  17. Never I'm a perfect angel!!! 0:-)
  18. Okay, you found out, this is the real reason that @MormonGator and I sit in the back, he is the rebel…
  19. The ladies that I have seen do videos have downloaded them to their laptops before coming to the church and then connected their laptop to the projector. I don't know if your ward or computer have those capabilities, so it's just a thought for you.
  20. Ummm I thought there were somethings we didn't talk about, like my tolerance of some country music! What is going on, is nothing private anymore?? ?
  21. Thanks I forgot to plan one for this month, glad you are on top of things. For the record, I don't care where I/we sit, as long as that's all I have to do is sit there. I don't have a fear of public speaking, I've been doing that since I was 11. And trust me if I want you to know my opinion you will. I just prefer not to be forced into praying out loud, or answering questions.
  22. I moved onto Prisoner of Azkaban! Getting there (don't have it in front of me so sorry if I spelled anything wrong)
  23. That's funny seeing how Gator and I met in college ?
  24. @Sunday21 someone has to, otherwise he would be to wild lol.
  25. Just for the record, he doesn't have a teardrop tattoo near his eye. That's too extreme, even for us ?
