I saw a couple times that Pheneas touched on the problem, and it seems that's about it. The problem is not about being gay. IMO gay is mental illness and could be/should be treated as such. There are exceptions, of course. The issue is not IF someone is attracted to another of the same gender/sex, but as the LGBT community has a problem with is if they are compliant with the church commandments it means they cannot go around having sex with anyone they want. THAT is the problem. Hey, there's a lot of hot babes out there that totally break my heart. The guys here know what else is on my mind that I have to repent for. But I don't act on them. I repent for my sinful thoughts and try to keep it from happening again. The LGBT community doesn't like that. IMO God brought us VD, and that failed. Then He brought us AIDS and HIV, and that failed too. Yes a lot of innocent people were hurt. Innocent people tend to get in harm's way. But God is trying to teach us a lesson. Some of us learned it, and here we are. Then there are those that either didn't learn or simply don't care. I don't think the church has any problem with the LGBT crowd. Instead, the LGBT crowd cannot honor chastity.

Here in Utah it seems landlords are either above the law, or they sure think they are. I have done property management for a number of years in several states, and the laws don't change. But the landlords do. This time it's a HUDD facility, so I have an advantage there, I hope. Then again, having 2-1/2 miles to my next neighbor is rather nice....

I have lived in a number of other states, but somehow I keep getting drawn back to Utah. I had plans, on my last return. Had a job offer in another state, got to Green River where my truck broke down, ended up staying to take care of my truck and get the funds to continue on, and that was 12/2011. Here it is 3/2019. Things just went on from there. Hmmm.

Could always do the coffee pot prank with a jar of Postum next to it. Of course, as a *sister* here (cough cough) should remember, a sin in thought is the same as a sin in act....lol!

I found a couple places, one sparks my interest because it's cheap, so I'll put an application in and see where it goes.... I was pulling out of camp this afternoon and the mud is so bad I had to get pulled out of the mud. It's a mess. "Knee deep mud" isn't humor- it's real life!

I keep hearing all this garbage about how this race is offended by whites and that race is offended by whites....us white folk are offending everyone it seems. Yet no one seems to care if anyone does anything racist towards us whiteys. Personally, I think it's awful that racism still exists. But we gotta be realistic about it- any time there is any kind of a difference between anyone, there will be bigotry and segregation. As for Northam & the school year book thing, he wasn't in the picture, he did not compile or edit the page or the book, and that wasn't a Klan robe. It was nothing more than a cheap excuse for a cheaply made costume. People are just looking for a fight. Say, isn't there a congresswoman somewhere that is or was a member of the priginal Black Panthers? You know the black gang that went around robing banks to fund their fight against America....?

I have heard the anti-vaxx argument, and I have to say I disagree with it. If you don't want a vaxx, fine. If you do not want your kids to get vaxx'ed, fine. But when a bug goes around and you spread it because you're not vaxx'ed, then AFAIC you should be held responsible. In fact, along that same line a few guys got nailed years ago for spreading HIV (I think it was HIV). They had sex, did not believe in using condoms, had HIV and never told the women. End result, women get HIV. The 2 guys (more?) ended up doing time in prison for that. Ok, HIV has no vaxx for it, right now, that I know of. But polio, measles, stuff like that, there are vaxx's and they can hurt of not kill some people under the wrong conditions. And if you're spreading it, you're to blame. They may have a vaxx scheduled, and maybe you got to them first. Or maybe for whatever reason they cannot have a vaxx, maybe not now, maybe never (who knows), they still get it because you chose not to get the vaxx. Don't argue "well, if they got it they could spread it, too!" If so then it's on their head. But we're not talking them. We're talking....about you. Truthfully, the chance a vaxx could cause an illness is there. But the statistics do not support outlawing vaccines, even with the Hg content. I still prefer Mercurochrome instead of iodine when bandaging up cuts and scrapes. It has Hg in it. But ultimately, the statistics are not there to support not getting your kids vaccinated. And if you don't get your kids shot up with a vaxx and they get a bug and die because of the lack of vaxx, then AFAIC you murdered your kid. But this is all my opinion. I'll get vaxx'ed if it's needed.

I hate to say this, but it is not our place to kick Maduro out. He is not in the United States of America. Venezuela is a sovereign nation. We need to respect that. At the same time, we can still help the people. Just think...what if other countries did not like our POTUS & how he treats Americans? Would that make it right for them to come here and kick him out? Venezuela's problem is complex. It did not start with Maduro, nor will it end when he is gone. The US is picking a fight they are sure to lose if they go in after Maduro.

And agendas.

Please forgive me if I read this thread wrong.... But If you are returning to the church for a woman, it's a bad mix altogether. If you come back you do so because you know the church is true.

I have a friend from Tunisia, and he said that slapping a wife around like that is heavily frowned upon by most Imams'. Islam in Tunisia is not as hard core as Indonesia, Saudi or Iraq.

I'm asking for prayers & guidance. Since 12/2015 I have been homeless. I have shared this with you guys before. Right now, though homeless, I am blessed by having a place I can set camp without trouble. In fact I have had one location for the past 2+ years. I am blessed by having a friend who owns land up in the mountains. Enough said, there. Right now I'm trying to find another place to live. Not like I am now, instead maybe a trailer park or even an apartment (if it's cheap enough). I'm not asking for anyone to search for me, instead...I have a few leads, so prayers help even more. As for guidance...I'm like WOW! Landlords today already expect to file a lawsuit against me just for applying. To a lot of them it's not "if", but "when". Back a few years ago when I was an apartment manager, I had few problems with tenants. Oh yeah, there were problems that arose, prospective tenants that were problems ever since they looked at the apartments, but the tenants themselves, I found the more space I gave them the better they were. Just pay the rent, pay the utility bills, don't cause any trouble, and all is good. Now they want a list of all of my credit cards & their numbers? All of my bank accounts & their numbers and balances? So they can have something to attach a court order to? Do you have any idea the expletives that wants to come out right about then? Court order? They havn't even sued me for anything yet! You can't just sue and expect to win, you gotta have grounds, first. They are going to (I hope) rent to me, not me pay them to be my master. In my experiences, I have always been good to my landlords. Only one landlord I can think of might disagree, depending on how drunk he is (and I have a lot of witnesses to that statement). On the other hand I know my experience in property management comes back to haunt me. I know what my rights as a tenant are, and what landlords cannot do. Like walking in and showing my apartment to a prospective buyer while I'm asleep and never telling me in advance; going through my stuff when I'm not there, to make sure I'm not involved in drugs(?); telling me who I am not allowed to have as friends (really happened); even telling me I have to have their permission to look at real estate to buy. Some of that sounds far fetched, you have no idea how much I wish I still had vidoes of some of that. I'm hoping & praying I don't have those problems here. 'Nuff said. All the prayers I can get, I certainly welcome!

A few years ago I wanted to do a paper for one of my college courses, the topic being cops killed in the line of duty. I did a lot of research on it, and changed the topic after losing the data I had collected. What I found is that in the past 100 years, until very recently (within a few years of present) cops killed in the line of duty has gone down. At the same time, people killed by cops "in the line of duty" has actually gone up tremendously. As for civilian on civilian killings, it really has not changed an awful lot. There are up swings and down swings, but when you look at it per capita, it really has not changed all that much. School shooting, until recently, the same thing- per capita, until recently, it really had no increased. The numbers increased, yes. Just as the population increased. And in a lot of the school shootings you will likely find the perp(s) were on psychotropic drugs. If I ever find those files, I will likely finish the paper "just because".

I read the article, and I am disappointed. Hate is generally based off of fear and ignorance. I do not see that as self-centered. Anger is generally based off of pain. Again, not self-centered.

You can gather food storage no matter how much space you have. You just have to be innovative.
