I live in a town where almost everyone is from somewhere else originally. In the summer we have a lot of folks moving in and a lot moving away. Combine that with all the vacations and it gets a wee bit interesting. I look like this a lot.

Rats! I just found out I'll be losing my 1st counselor soon. She was the one who actually had a clue. I'm also losing 3 teachers, a nursery lady and my pianist. Who says Heavenly Father doesn't have a sense of humor? Not me!

I didn't realize we had some wiggle room. I think I like your way better. I'll bring it up at tomorrows meeting.

Pam, I take great comfort in the fact that you survived this calling. I almost forgot. The second counselor teaches sharing time on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

I'm Primary Pres right now and I brought "the book" home so I can tell you what it says. Under Second Counselor Duties it lists: Supervise classes for Nursery and Sunbeams and provide training for new teachers. Plan and conduct Quarterly Activities Organize and Supervise the Articles of Faith incentive program Weekly "Spotlight Child" program Quarterly Bullitin Board.

This may be the hardest thing you ever do. My prayers are with yu as you travel this path.

Is it possible that some have been imported already? I've been seeing a tiny car around town for the last few weeks and it looks like the one pictured here.

I turned my TV off in 1978 and didn't turn it on again until 1991. I turned it on during a day time soap opera and yelled at my husband to call the station and inform them someone had accidently put in a porno show. I turned the TV back off and have only just recently started watching football and not much else. Sometimes I catch CNN.

I got the Ronco Rotisserie for my daughter and it's wonderful.

The Second Counselor is also the contact person for the Primary President, in my ward at least.

Congrats EP! How long have you been an investigator? It took me over 3 years to get baptized during which I went every Sunday.

I think it's beautiful. It caused emotions to come to the surface which is what good poetry is all about, imho.

I knew a couple who had 8 kids under 12 years of age and they always looked a bit rumpled but they were always at church 10 minutes early. I overheard the mom tell someone that she had them sleep in their church clothes on Saturday night.

It's okay, there's probably something terribly wrong with most of us.

I retired 2 1/2 years ago at age 49 so it's kind of a moot point for me but I'd like to have another million in the bank. I figure my chances of winning the lottery are pretty much the same whether I buy a ticket or not so I just save that money for something else.

I don't like anything with the wrong number of legs. Snakes = bad and spiders = bad.

I drink caffeine free diet coke once in a while but my favorite drink is water. Sometimes I flavor the water with vitamin powder.
