Thanks for the support and congratulations, Amy! The missionaries didn't get a chance to show me the Baptism area yesterday, but they will do so when I have my Baptism Interview in a day or two's time...I'm beginning to feel just a little jittery in general now, as I try to fit in my final lessons, a Single Adults' Family Home Evening and allsort of other stuff!!

Stampede, I'm sorry I overlooked your reply mentioning that you were going to Baptise your wife today in Iggy's 'Attention-Attention' thread until just now!!

Iggy, I haven't gone thru the dry run yet, but the Missionaries have promised to let me look at the baptism font/area tomorrow, so I will feel more prepared after that. I'm really pleased that Willow is gonna be there for me too, she can be the official LDS.net representative!! :)

LOL Willow! I'm looking forward to seeing that Yeti! You could show it to Desmond's daughter Linda, if she's there on the night!! I've only seen her once, briefly, since returning to church, so I must try and seek her out. Yes, I'm gonna be brave, not think about the practicalities of the baptism too much, and just enjoy the spirit of the event. The Missionaries are going to show me the Baptism area on Sunday. :)

Rize, your posts are like a breath of fresh air to me. I won't try arguing for Socialism, or some kind of Christian/LDS Socialism..Communism even! as I know that the members of this site are well versed in their arguments against it. I think it is sad that the LDS community which originally tried to live the Law of Consecration was unsuccessful

I would ring your doctor again, and explain what you think you might have..they may be able to schedule an earlier appt. just so that you can start taking antibiotics as soon as possible...inner ear infections are nasty!!

Iggy and Willow, thanks very much for your additional reassuring posts! I'm sure you all know about what it's like for people with phobias in general, so you can understand my fears..I am going to be brave and go thru with it tho..I forgot to mention the dry run to the elders last night, I must remember on Thursday or Saturday when I see them..or perhaps next week at my Baptism Interview..I've been thru some of those interview questions, so I feel a little better about that part of the procedures...Just have to get the finer details dealt with before the big day! :) Willow, I'm really happy that you're coming to watch my Baptism...at last I can get close to somebody from this website..close as in actually meeting somebody, I'm already close to lots of you via messaging and whatnot, don't want you to get the wrong idea! :)
