Palerider Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 The reason I started this....over the past few months I have read several posts where many have stated they wanted to get back into going to Church.....so lets try and give those of you who need a push....a big PUSH in the right direction.... Misshalfway Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Well....church is a good thing. Count me in! Quote
Moksha Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 Pale, once we get there on Challenge Day, do we need to do anything different? I know that the boys at BYU are allowed to wear crazy ties to express their individuality (provided it still conforms and complies with Church standards). Do you wish to add something of this magnitude to your challenge? Quote

BenRaines Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 Pale, I agree that there are some, I have a child with this problem, it is not a matter of disbelief it is a matter of habit. Once you get out of the habit of going the you can find 100 things to do on Sunday instead of attending church. Great idea. Ben Raines Quote

He started coming back just recently. He has made it for 2 sundays now. He kept telling me he was going to come and never did. This went on for a long time. I even asked him if we needed to send the Mormon mafia over to pick him up on sunday mornings....:D Quote

Honor Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 yes.....don't do anything stupid......and enjoy the service....Took me a second to realize that this said "don't do anything stupid" and not "don't do anything, Stupid!" Quote
AngelLynn Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 I am in. Although I started to push myself to go back to church this year and to be more active in general. This will be a good way to keep myself active. I didn't go to church today because I wasn't feeling good today. Quote
tanuvasamama Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 I'll be there. My newest little daughter will be blessed that day! Quote
