I don't have too much of a sweet tooth, but my favorite desert is probably just ice cream. :) Which is too bad because I am lactose intolerant so I get sick whenever I eat it haha but it usually doesn't stop me.

oh i have so many favorite desserts. but i'm going to say one that i rarely have, but it's so delicious.

lemon angel food cake.

you just get an angel food cake, then cut it up into thin slices.

then you mix frozen pink lemonade and cool whip.

then you layer the 2 in a cake pan

stick it in the freezer til frozen

top with shredded coconut.

mmmm. so sweet, but so good.

Let's see.. good old pumpkin pie (heavily spiced) w/ whipped cream. A real treat now since the ingredients are next to impossible to find in Scotland.

gabelpa-- I love pumpkin pie... why a shortage of ingredients? pumpkins or spices...?

Spice mixes are wrong, so I'll have to make that myself next time. Pumpkins are only sold during the week leading up to Halloween, and they're the carving ones, not good for making a pie from. There are smaller squashes available but don't taste right. I'll have to grow my own pumpkins next year. I tried to this year, but the snails ate my pumpkin plant.

Can you get canned pumpkin?

Pumpkin pie spice is pretty easy to improvise on your own. It's just different proportions of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves (if you want, add cardamom, mace, or allspice as well). Just Google it.

My favorite dessert is the Sahara.

Oops, wrong dessert. Two scoops of ice cream. One vanilla, one chocolate, marshmallow cream, whipped cream , a cherry on top and sprinkled with chocolate chips. Yum, yum.

Chewy cookies. Either sugar or oatmeal raisin. Not so much with the chocolate. An other thing I really like is angel food cake, jello, whip cream and mandarin orange slices all mixed together.
