I'll start. I'm in Ohio. Our motto, "With God All Things Are Possible".

Actually, the official state motto of Texas is simply "Friendship". And the state motto for Maryland (my true home) is "Manly deeds, womanly words", whatever that means.

The Greek Navy's motto is: We never leave our brothers behind.

Actually, because Greek requires plurals to be pushed to its descriptive word, the literal translation is:

'We never leave our brothers behinds'.

I laughed so hard when I found out the Greek Navy's motto is 'We never leave our brother's behinds'.
