Sunday21 Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 Do you have a secret hope for the afterlife? I hope to be able to have a pet. My allergies make dog or cat ownership tricky. I hope not to work on the computer. Please no paperwork in the next life! I would love to be able to sing. It would be great to read a novel so a couple of nights off would be great. It would be nice to travel, have vacations. Visit friends. All the things I never have time to do here. I hope that there willbe social activities. No time for that here! Quote
Guest Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I hope there's chocolate. I hope I will be in heavenly choirs and orchestras. I hope there is a lot of laughter. I hope for lots of time with my family, especially my sweetheart. Quote
Str8Shooter Posted October 5, 2014 Report Posted October 5, 2014 I hope that I will see some family and friends embrace the Gospel, even though I am pretty sure they won't.I also hope there will be some kind of competitive sport that involves reaction times and modding. Quote

Guest LiterateParakeet Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 I want to meet my heroes...not just scripture heroes, though they are certainly included...but also people like Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, Ghandi, William Wilberforce, Steve Biko, Abraham Lincoln, Stonewall Jackson . . . And I would like to see places in the world that I haven't been able to visit while here. Quote
MarginOfError Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 All I'm going to say is that it isn't truly heaven without ultimate frisbee and barbecues. Sunday21 1 Quote
PolarVortex Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 I'll be able to sight-read any piece of music on the piano and sound much better than Liberace after a year of hard practice. And my pet cats and dogs will speak English so I can explain to them that all those trips to the vet really were for their own good. And most importantly... no computers anywhere! Sunday21 1 Quote
mirkwood Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Sleep...or at least the absence of tiredness. The lack of tinnitus will be nice too, I know that goes away with the perfect body. Sunday21 1 Quote

Silhouette Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Well, my first hope for the afterlife is that I make it there, assuming we are talking about heaven as the afterlife and not the other way lol.I would like to be able to communicate with all my pets that I've had throughout my life. Wingnut Posted October 13, 2014 Report Posted October 13, 2014 Even though I assume we won't need to eat, I hope that we still can. And that amazing food comes without weight gain. I just think it would be sad if we could never taste great food again. Quote
