  1. As a male, I feel he is shaming you out of his own personal guilt because his actions were 100% adulterous. Nothing he says has any bearing on the Lord's love for you, nor should it cause you to feel guilt.
  2. I have been to many a dance, in church and out, where these rules of etiquette did not exist by any means.
  3. This is right up there with participation ribbons and not keeping score in sports.
  4. I do Korean House most of the time, but when I attend training classes I will go to Seoul Garden due to time constraints. There is a new "modern" Korean place on 23rd street called Chae. I haven't been yet, but it would be more romantic if it's a date night. However, you should definitely stop by next time you come through town.
  5. OKC. The best Korean I have had is in MWC, just 15 mins away by Tinker AFB.
  6. Society has been conditioned to blame someone...but this I agree is absurd.
  7. One way you could test him out would be to drive in a busy part of town during rush hour. Gauge his reactions and find out how he handles stressful situations.
  8. Chrome wouldn't even let me read that link, it crashed as soon as it was clicked.
  9. Holy cow, I want Korean food now!!!
  10. Good point!!
  11. Welcome @Mjd1174 !! In addition to what @zil has said. I have found it very helpful to meet as a couple with the bishop and stake president. Their experience, spiritual insight and leadership can help immensely. Best wishes on your pursuits!
  12. That being said, pre-mortal Adam was Michael during the creation. So did he go back to being Michael once he left earth?
  13. I can't pull up the outline per work proxy It sounds very interesting to me for sure. I have always found it difficult to balance loving one another without accepting their life choice. If that makes sense.
  14. I was in the middle of commenting when I had to leave work a few days ago! I just got back and hit post without realizing I didn't quote the person I was asking my question to. I did find your response very helpful as I only attributed "spiritual death" to the final judgement as well as "lost" to the state of a person who rebels/withdraws from the spirit of God while still on the earth. Thanks!!
  15. I thought spiritual death is only after judgement?
  16. Any validity to the notion that the "valley" mentioned in this scripture refers to the "tunnel" people report to pass through during a near death experience?!
  17. The good thing about this life (the good/bad) is that it is a mere speck of sand in the vast expanse of eternity. Viewing what happens on earth and who does what to whom can be difficult and blurry, but those views really can come into focus with an eternal perspective.
  18. Speaking of opium, explain how it is possible for production to increase exponentially since 2001?
  19. Right. But the preservation of the Constitution presupposes the government succeeded in protecting it. No? The U.S. government will not save the Constitution. It will "hang by a thread" before the brethren are asked to step in and save it.
  20. For example: Prepare to keep the Sabbath fully, because we will eventually need to treat every day as such, in order to keep from being consumed by the world?
  21. Awesome article and the comments were fun to read.

    Program

Hey, my mom approached me for assistance putting together the ward program this past Sunday. I was able to do it, but she isn't very savvy at all with MS Anything. I was wondering if there was a basic template any of you all use?! Thanks!
  23. Can't believe I had not heard about it.
