Bro my wife knows she can speak to me at half time and full time. Haha she knows that football was my first love and no-one can compare to the beautiful game.

It was an incredible match! France's second goal is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
  5. The best scene in Les Mis is the end of the Epilogue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGHJ7iqHMW0
  6. I think so, there is no swearing and not many adult themes. My wife and I find it good
  7. Sad that your husband was a faithful servant to the church and now there is apparently no time to teach his children.
  8. My sister-in-law was widowed the day her son was born and she distanced herself from everyone except me (we were really close) for a long time. She even distanced herself from my parents but they understood that she needed time alone to figure things out without anyone else's influence. After 3 or 4 years she started speaking to my parents again and my mother didn't hold a grudge she was just happy to have her grandson in her life. My sister-in-law did also go back to the same ward for a while but she never resettled there and eventually moved away. She felt like people didn't treat her the way they did before her husband died and didn't like the sympathy or pity. I don't blame you for not wanting to go to that ward and I understand the constant struggle you face because I care for my nephew now and I constantly feel like I am letting my brother down.
  9. Sadly this is quite a common scenario. It's one reason I didn't serve a mission. The missionaries are insincere with you, they don't care about you or your children you are just potential baptisms to make sure they hit their targets. It's sad because your children deserve better than that especially if their father served a mission for the church and now his children are not being helped by missionaries because missionaries only care about their figures and not the people. I suggest that you teach them yourself maybe you can get some inspiration from Lds.org. You could start doing a family home evening with your children, you may not be as knowledgeable as the missionaries but at least you care for your children. I completely understand wanting to distance yourself from people at your late husband's church whilst you were grieving .

    Tattoo

That is lucky after 4 months of my wife telling me how much she dislikes it I got rid of it, she now dislikes my scar but I can't do anything about that.

    Tattoo

I miss my tattoo a little bit but why would I keep it if my wife hated it.

I don't understand the difference but I am sure I disagree. I would still care if someone didn't like me (depending who) just because someone has a tattoo doesn't mean that they disregard people's opinions.

I was concerned with people's view of my tattoo. My team mates used to constantly mock my tattoo and that upset me. My mother hated it and my wife did not like it so I eventually got rid of it. Of course it matters what people think of your tattoos. I am not against tattoos at all but your statement is wrong.

Being half English I have a natural dislike of Argies, so glad they lost
  18. I had the same goal, I didn't want my wife to have to sacrifice anything, whether it was her happiness, her comfort or her goals. The thing is at some point one of you won't be able to do what you want. That is fine a sacrifice doesn't feel like a sacrifice when it is for someone you love
  19. My wife and I didn't have much figured out before we got married we didn't even have anywhere to live, we spent the first 3 weeks after our honeymoon sleeping in the basement of our friend's flat. The wedding day isn't a magical day where everything falls in to place but it is a lot easier to work things out once the wedding day is behind you

    Tattoo

Good point. I used to look at my tattoo everyday and think I am lucky to be alive so that was positive for me but at the same time I would slightly relive things I didn't want to. Unfortunately, I will always have this problem because I can't remove the scar but the OP can avoid putting a mark on their body that will remind them of struggles they would rather forget.

    Tattoo

I had a tattoo between my ribcage that said Lucky to cover up a scar I have. My wife hated it so I had it removed but tattoos are fine. Be sure about the tattoo though because I can't remember how much it cost to remove but I remember I wanted to cry when I found out the cost
  22. To be fair my wife and I lived separately so we could both attend grad school. She wasn't a bad wife for not following me and I wasn't a bad husband for not following her. I will defend him. Change is scary for anyone, she has been without him for a while it seems so she is used to that. Why would she be scared to still live apart from him? It makes more sense that she is scared to emigrate than to stay in Costa Rica. It isn't living with JayKi she is afraid of, it is living in a different country. It shows that she loves JayKi if she is willing to marry him
  23. if I took any of that advice and tried to use it with my wife I would be a dead man.
  24. My wife has never disciplined me. For that article to suggest that you should discipline your wife for not having sex with you makes me think the person who wrote it is crazy.
  25. I disagree with disciplining your wife at all ever
