  1. I think they were trying to make his voice sound younger?
  2. I didn’t know @Godless got a new shirt.
  3. I’m not sure it’s for me, but I hope you enjoy it. Good to hear from you!
  4. I actually drive a Prius! Lol.
  5. He’d grow a ponytail too if he had hair. 😉
  6. He’s gone woke folks.
  7. :: snickers :: RR got stale 2 months before his reign began. Even though I’m a Cody fan I totally understand people who don’t like him. Frankly, there are several good reasons to dislike him.
  8. PREACH. We agree 100% on this. I never understood his popularity, and why he is having such a long title reign is beyond me. Really? He’s the best you got?
  9. Never know bro, in ten minutes you might become a smart mark 😉
  10. @Vort, hold on, it posted before I was done. let me edit that.
  11. Sure, I’ll try to explain. I apologize for not doing it better. Let me try this: If you tell a wrestler it’s “fake” they’ll take it as you saying to them “I am insulting what you do and insinuating you are not tough or skilled or that anyone could do it. ” OR “You are a conman.” That's a pretty insulting thing to take. When someone accuses you of that they are ignoring the 20 years of hard work you’ve put into the business eating ketchup sandwiches and doing the indies. It is a lot like a guy who peaked in high school telling Tom Brady that anyone could do what he does. Bezler obviously never comprehended the above, and was too stupid to understand that Hogan would be highly insulted by it. So, if Brezler thinks that what Hogan does is “fake” and therefore easy, unskilled, or weak-well then anyone probably could do it too. So Brezler essentially slapped a bear and tried to play “but I didn’t do anything, euthanize that bear .” He got exactly what was coming to him. He messed around, and found out. Now, when adult non fans call it fake to other fans, it’s usually to their way of telling you how stupid wrestling fans are. Which is odd, because the guy saying it’s fake is too dense to know that we know it’s fake. Hope this helps. Thanks for listening as well.
  12. That, and the creation of the dirt sheet. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirt_sheet and if you want to watch “pure wrestling” I second @IronholdS mention of ROH.
  13. Just for the record, I’m barely a casual fan of wrestling now, but as a kid I was obsessed with it. So much so that I gave serious thought to getting in the industry as a writer or something. No regrets, but in my next life I’m asking our Heavenly Father to be 6’4” and 220 pounds because I think I could be a great heel.
  14. He got what was coming to him. It’s nice to see. Like the hard right, gun waving guys say “Mess around and find out.” He messed around and found out. Nope, the movie comment is still there. Thanks, glad it made sense. I “roll my eyes” at people who shoot their mouth off from the couch at quarterbacks who throw interceptions, batters who strike out, and yes, people who say wrestling is fake. 99.9% of them couldn’t do a fraction what these guys do, so yes, their criticism is just a waste of breath. I think you are an engineer of some kind (correct me if I’m wrong please). If @LDSGator, a guy who can barely count to 10, starts lecturing you about how planes fly, you would 100% be within your rights to dismiss me and not even listen.
  15. Oh totally agree. Behind every good joke is a touch of truth. The Bee guys understand that totally.
  16. No better satire out there than the Bee.
  17. Just saw this on a wrestling FB page I follow. Cody and Roman are in the main event this year at Wrestlemania. @Ironhold-your pick? Team Cody all the way.
  18. Yup, all true. It’s not high art by any means. No one should say it is. To each their own.
  19. Again though-very cool to see another wrestling fan here @Ironhold
  20. Yes, I know this. In fact, I could probably tell everyone here about the Montreal Screwjob, Hulk Hogan’s black eye at Wrestlemania 9, and why Stone Cold refused to job to Jarrett during the Attitude Era too. All without Google.
  21. I did. Like I said, I see it vastly differently. So differently that all I can say is that I’m glad you are also into wrestling and that you enjoy AEW.
  22. Okay. I see it totally differently.
  23. So let me be clear. You are saying that AEW, a company formed in 2019 and has struggled with the ratings/attendance is on par with the WWE, AAA and New Japan? Am I clear? Yes or no?
  24. You’d put AEW on the same level of the WWE…why?
