A friend of my husband made a "gas prophecy" a couple days ago that it will drop a dollar in the next couple weeks. I don't know why he thinks this, but I would be happy if he were right. :D I guess we'll see. On the news just now, they said one gas station nearby is under $4.00 now.

I filled up today for $3.98 and I live in southern RI.. there were lines to get gas...I think they must have just lowered the price today becuase on the pump it said $4.04 but it came up was $3.98 so i'll take it! I hope his gas prophecy is right!!! hehe

I've got half a tank in the car and since it's a Corolla I won't have to tank up again for another week or so, that said, no clue what the gas prices are at. I don't really mind the price raise though, I only have a 10 gallon tank.

My hubby and I both work from home and are about 15 min from the nearest store so we dont drive much. Man isnt it sad that we all get excited about $3.50 for gas?

The gas station I manage dropped to $4.15 today here in the SLC area.

I was always amazed at the prophetic ability of that old highway sign that said, "Eat here, Get Gas".

Good ol' Guadalahonky's.

I sold my car and now take public transit. My transportation costs now cost me only .85 cents a week.

OPEC has nothing to do with the high prices.

It has been said that the problem is greedy gas CEOs.

the price of oil is controlled by OPEC, and it is a supply demand thing... BIG BAD OIL makes $0.08 per GALLON...the government makes about $0.60 depending on yoru state

granted the CEOs are complete D-Bags....but we are getting reamed harder by the savages in Iran and Saudi, then American oil companies...which I don't know about you..but I have oil stock in my 401k
