slamjet Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Thank goodness 2010 is gone. What a roller coaster of a year! It's a year where I can't say it was good or bad. Because it was BOTH! Quote
beefche Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Happy New Year! I had a great 2010 and am looking forward to a fantastic 2011. BTW, in Indiana it is pouring rain with thunder and big flashes of lightning. What a way for nature to celebrate in the new year! Quote
mordorbund Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 La La La La La La!!! I haven't seen 2011 yet, don't spoil it for me!!! Quote
Bini Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Yes, hope everyone had a wonderful New Years. I sure did! Quote

Backroads Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Delayed Happy New Year! Spent it playing video games with the fiance before creeping out with the sisters and cousin to eat at Denny's and then waking up at six for snowshoeing. The latter is not a bad thing, but I sincerely believe in the early to bed/early to rise concept and staying up late is NOT good for me! But no, I'm young and engaged and therefore apparently have to party. But a good year to all of us! Quote
Bini Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 We (hubby & I) didn't have big plans for New Years. We took it easy this year. We rented about 10 BluRays and watched them all night til morning, while snacking and eating oven-baked veggie lasagna! It was great. My sister and her boyfriend decided to hit downtown and do the whole countdown thingamabob but you know what — it was too dang cold to be out so I didn't envy them one little bit! Quote
Iggy Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 NAPPY YEW HEAR !!! We watched Netflix - had summer sausage -n- soda cracker snacks with Sprite Zero (Husband) & Diet Rite Black Cherry soda (Me). It was so quiet and relaxing, that we didn't notice it was 1/1/11 until 1:15 AM!! No one in our neighborhood was out cheering, clanging pots & pans (used to do that when I was a kid), or shooting guns or fireworks. Hope all had a safe New Years Eve. Quote
