jewels8 Posted August 15, 2024 Report Posted August 15, 2024 In the Joseph Smith Papers, the land for the Temple and surrounding area consists of 24 buildings, called temples, with one being the main temple, what we would recognize as the temple. Also there would be storehouses and then on the outskirts would be residences. The place that was dedicated for the temple site is currently owned by the Church of Christ, formerly known as the Church of Christ (Temple Lot). They own the smallest amount of land in that area of the 3 main churches that own the land that is of interest to the Church. We, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, own the second most amount of land in that area, and the Community of Christ (once known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) owns the most amount of land. In Parker Wallbeck's videos on the 2nd Coming, he talks about Pres. Nelson's General Conference talks concerning the second coming, including about temples. In the vision given to the prophet , Ezekiel in Chapter 47, he sees water coming from the temple and healing the waters of the Dead Sea. Quote
