Maybe you're the source of stress.

Pretty sure it's just unconscious habit from writing with a ballpoint.  It took me months to learn to lighten up on my grip (and I still grip too tightly at times).

@zil

I have not taken a call yet that would allow for the use of that particular pen.

Keep in mind that this is written while balanced on a tilted laptop at an angle to my right.

Still no call yet? And it's already March!

Less pressure - the ink shouldn't feather like that (e.g. the downstroke of the P in pen). :)

@mirkwood,

Are you left handed?

Nope.  One of us would probably have to move if that were the case. :P I'm just in his stake.  Or maybe he's in mine.  Not sure.  May have to research.

I think I have been here longer.  ;)

Need a name and phone number?

Nope - LDS Tools tells me all I need to know.

If you say so.

2000.  You?

You know that's impolite to ask a woman how long she's been there.  Especially since her answer would have to be 1900.

It's probably the paper not the pressure

I tested the paper myself with various inks and pens, including that pen.  The paper is fine - yes, it's cheap stuff, but it's made in India cheap stuff, which is better than other locales, and would be fine for someone with a light hand - but after decades of ballpoints, one isn't even conscious of the amount of pressure they're applying.  (And yes, better paper wouldn't even feather at all, but as I mentioned above, it seemed cruel to get a cop addicted to expensive paper.)
