Riddle

Recommended Posts

OK, I got this one wrong the first time.  No cheating.

Someone’s mother has four sons. North, South and East. What is the name of the fourth son.

As to not give it away too soon, private message me the name of the fourth son.

Here's another one:

You're driving a bus.

On the first stop, 2 entered the bus

On the 2nd stop, 3 entered the bus

On the 3rd stop, 4 exited the bus

On the 4th stop, 5 entered the bus

On the 5th stop, 6 exited the bus

On the 6th stop,  everybody who tested positive with CoVID-19 in the USA on March 25 entered the bus.

.

.

.

What's the name of the driver?

You might want to change this to

Quote

A mother has four sons: ...

Then my answer is no longer valid but Vort's still is.

All well and good, but: Who's on first.

Someone should have gotten it by now.

No.

Vort did provide an important clue though.

PS, the answer is not "Someone".

I’ve seen this riddle before, but with in variation. It ended with “Can you tell me the name of the fourth son?” And the answer is simply “no”

🤦🏻‍♂️ I got it. I now want to challenge this and say it is lacking a key feature to even be considered a “riddle”, but it is tricky non-the-less.

How do you know that isn’t her daughter’s name? She has four very strangely named sons, I wouldn’t put it past her to name her daughter “Someone”

OK, maybe a daughter is named someone, but that doesn't change the son's name.
