Like the other person said Joseph Smith when working on the "Inspired Version" stated it was not inspired, but since LDS members use the KJV it is in their current cannon of scripture. I used to believe it wasn't, just because Joseph said it, but I no longer feel it is not inspired. BTW, Mark Driscoll just did a great sermon series on it at Mar Hill Church up in Seattle. I think it has much to do with the expectations of the LDS church itself. Young men are almost commanded to serve mission, while for young sisters it is optional, if you are not married yet.

I believe I am consistent, I believe the Father and the Son are the Godhead, the governing priesthood over all things in creation. Just like a woman cannot be in the governing councils of the church, but can be the Relief Society or Primary President, doesn't mean she is not a person, she just has different responsibilities. I guess you could call the Holy Ghost the Primary President over all creation.
