Why he/she disagree?

The conspiring men are those who used any means to try to kill Joseph Smith, in one occasion they poisoned him so badly that caused his jaw to be almost completely dislocated. The church started using water in sacrament long before the word of wisdom was given because of this conspiring men, it makes sense if you think about it, it's easier to try to disguise poison in wine than in water.

This discussion reminds of whether or not Jesus was married. Some people cannot fathom the idea he could have been married and....HAD SEX! Same for Joseph Smith. It's funny, with the amount of children average couples have in our Church one would think we know there is/was sex involved...and this includes the Brethren and Prophets.

For those who think profiting with the Gospel shouldn't exist, they should then remove the salaries of so many CES supervisors, take away the cash privileges of the Brethren and go to Deseret Books or any other LDS bookstore and force them to give you the books for free.

I don't deal with them period, particularly (like in this case) when it doesn't personally involves me. Whether it affects me or not, will be entirely my choice. I know that it must be frustrating knowing these things and see it happening, however both of the persons involved are adults who seem to know exactly what they are doing. I believe if I was in your shoes, I would be polite with everyone but it doesn't mean I will go my way to socialize or be their "buddy".

Well between the lady that used to come to my ward with a rosary in hand and kneel from the door to the pulpit in fast and testimony meetings, the Nazi that told us he will kill everyoneand the one that said he had sex with the missionaries....the topic is sensitive in nature.

The topic is way more complex. I believe it has a lot to do with personalities, approach to parenthood, circumstances, opportunities, etc etc etc etc. Some parents may find a joy in having good looking, smart, healthy and obedient kids while others struggle with issues that most people give for granted such as disabilities or serious health issues of these kids...and trust me, it makes parenting a whole DIFFERENT scenario.

Sorry if I sound harsh but anyone can say they are "X" person online and there is really not many ways to verify that (or take the time to do so) so I take all claims with a grain of salt.

Possibly. I literally HATE when people start saying that "we should shoot them all" and things like that or make ugly jokes about them. One thing is to be against illegal immigration, another thing is to be hateful AND racist (yes, I think a lot of people who think like that do it mainly out of racism and NOT immigration).

Pam, I agree completely with what you are saying however I think that's entirely another topic. Some of us who do not support illegal immigration do it based on laws and SAFETY, not race, ethnicity or hate. How do you feel about those illegal aliens who steal SS numbers, use fake documents or even take over another person's identity? (and put them in debt as well!) and I am speaking about good, law abiding citizens who are now faced with identity theft? Mercy cannot rob justice.

Often times I wonder if those same "haters" have a problem with blond and blue eyes illegal aliens from Europe.

The kids are obviously not US citizens that's why they didn't have a choice but to leave with their parents. Second, Argentina is not the size of Alaska (not that it matters but I was confused by that comment...) Anti-Mormon sentiment over there? No way. The issue here was the visa. When Argentina enjoyed the benefits of a visa waiver (90 days) a lot of people started moving to Miami and other areas with the intent of residing there. The thing is about that particular visa is that the person cannot change status WITHIN the US. They have to leave the country and apply for another visa. What I don't understand is why they requested asylum two years later if they were truly being harassed? Instead, they moved by some friends with the understanding that the person would file a work visa for them. It didn't happen.

I don't think those of us who are against illegal immigration lack compassion when we talk about rules, etc. If that's the case, the Lord along with Church leaders lack compassion when they disfellowship or excommunicate a member for committing a serious sin...

I have seen the show. Personally, the wives (the first three) do not look "content" as expressed here. I even think they were/are jealous of the last one and they even joke about calling her a "trophy" wife because she is slim, etc.

Personally, I don't think why you should "wait" just because you are in the middle of moving to a different ward, you have a Bishop right now. Give him a call, meet him and start the process! All the best.

Kids with WAY too much time on their hands. They need a good kick in their behind and ship them to Honduras or Congo and let them do some service.
