I wanted to re-emphasize, prop 8 was an amendment to state constitution, to define what was previously assumed and is now being ruled as unconstitutional based on the bill of rights ie we are trying to patch up an unintentional loophole.

I recommend the Mistborn Triology by Brandon Sanderson, they are fairly short books and for me at least I couldn't put it down.

Maintaining faith and incorrect Bible translation

Ok so in the bible there is a book which we call The Revelation of St John the Divine. Is that better?

I'm sorry but how is someone going to circumspectly tie a string/wire to a hockey puck in the middle of a game? How would it stay on the puck without slipping off while he's skating towards the goal? More likely it hit a chip or chunk in the ice at the right angle and he reacted quickly to it bouncing back. The only thing I see when watching real close is some tape that is lose on his stick flap a little. edit: eating my own words, I see it now! My apologies.

When you put it the context in which you intended it, I can agree with you. Perhaps "void" was the wrong word for me to use, but I think you understood what I meant.

I did find the LDS manual which touches on the subject, it seems a lot is left up to individual interpretation. New Testament Teacher Resource Manual Revelation 12?14
-
Wouldn't that be a part of mosaic law and therefore void?

Revelation 13:15-18 KJV Most relevant is highlighted in red. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

This is the kind of situation I had in mind when making that analogy. -

I rather like this analogy. Now take it a step further, the employer deactivates the security (to swap tapes or something) and leaves you alone with the money, you really need that money. You think your employer wants you to take it. You take it. Turns out the employer simply trusted you. Sure you are still to blame if you take it, but it's a lot less black and white isn't it? Imperfect analogy I admit, I'm not even sure I agree with what I am saying with my example. -
I heard on cnn in accordance with state law, the accomplice is being charged with first-degree murder. Something about in their state, if a murder is committed during the commission of certain crimes (in this case burglary), every person assisting in committing the crime can be charged with the murder, regardless of who pulled the trigger. Man free on bail, days after Oklahoma woman kills alleged intruder's accomplice - CNN

I've been wondering the same thing! My knowledge of the structure of my own language hit it's peak in High School, and has been exponentially declining since.

Thoughts on modesty
jerome1232 replied to Martain's topic in Young Single Adults, College and Institute
I would vote no. I could never agree with that. We guys are in control of our actions after all. Some of my own thoughts - I have never understood the mentality of "Women are not sexual objects, but should hint of sex in every possible way and to damnation with the pig that thinks of a women inappropriately" mentality I see so much today. These statements are general statements.. Men respond to sexually visual stimuli much more than women Men are more aggressive than women When what a man see's is screaming sex and is pumping out powerful hormones which induce aggressiveness and sexual arousal, it certainly isn't helping matters much. -
Are those really flip flops made from fish? I really hope they just look like fish, please just look like fish.

I remember a talk given to a CES activity I attended as a teen, it was called "The Time is Now!" It emphasized our straining to be worthy to meet our God now and I couldn't agree more, some of us won't make it to see the next sunrise. (that ended on a much more dismal note than I intended, but then again getting to meet God isn't a dismal note is it?)

It comes built into most remotes now, as to your question, it's useless if you don't have the games that supports it, required if you have games that do (since they won't let you play without it)

MS Paint, at least that's what I use, on a gold background of course.

I love mario galaxy myself, actually most mario titles are next to amazing. Metroid is also a great game. If it doesn't come with Wii Resort, I'd recomend it. That's where the majority of my families time get's spent on. If it suits fancy grab a classic controller and invest in some snes games from Nintendo's online store. I personally love the nostalgia of those old games.

I think Traveler is playing devils advocate, and I don't believe he stated that what he said was his believe.
