I am disturbed that you willfully distinguish between so-called "men" and "women", as if there's a difference. For shame! You are a part of the Oppressive Patriarchy®.
There are no superior races! But there are inferior races. You're so unwoke not to know that. You must be white. (No offense intended to albinos, those with vitiglio, or other pigmentally deficient persons.)
Wrong! It's OK to steal as long as you give to to someone *I* think deserves it.
Wrong! Because it's not a baby! It's just a clump of cells until it reaches the age of seven, or until the mother parent with a vagina and the doctor agree to allow it to live. Didn't you read the talking points?
Check your privilege, you white, bepenised person.

I am not sure it really is that complex. We have at least three options:
    1) Nephi and Mosiah used their own words. Their words were written hundreds of years before Luke.
    2) When translating, Joseph (as inspired by God) used language he was familiar with.
    3) Nephi and Mosiah were shown hundreds of years into the future and were able to see Luke preach and thus use his words in their writings.
Could there be more options, I assume so, but not likely. Option #1 and #2 are more likely.
I'm not exaggerating, I am accepting the total effort a person can give according to their talent. It appears, I could be wrong, you are conflating perfection with total effort. Haven't you heard coaches (a leader) and others say about a player (any talent), "Man, he/she really gave his/her all today." It is a figure of speech that a person went all out, even if but for a short time. No one believes for a moment when we make the statement, "That person gave us his all," that it was done with perfection and that the person is therefore perfect. The verse of scripture doesn't equate "total effort" with perfection, and I don't believe the Bible Dictionary is equating perfection with total effort either.
This is again where we would disagree. Does God give commands that are impossible? I don't think so, scriptures appear to be quite clear that God doesn't provide any commandment that is impossible. If you want to believe a commandment from the Lord is impossible, I assume that is your choice.
It appears your definition of "ALL" is perfection. I don't read total effort or our whole souls as perfection. Imperfect people are able to give their ALL according to their individual gifts and talents. Grace is activated according to conditions, it is a blessing predicated upon laws.
Plus I am not the one stating we need to give our all for Christ's grace, Moroni is pretty clear on that point (emphasis mine):
"Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God."
Do you then feel that the first great commandment is also impossible to achieve and follow? (emphasis mine)
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Especially in light of scripture (emphasis mine), "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Is God really telling us, giving us commands, that are impossible? Would that make him a liar then, or unjust?
    ..........
To be clear, I believe the concept of "despite all we can do" is a necessary truth to understand; however, if we only accept one interpretation or one meaning (as it is the ONLY way it can be interpreted) we are missing out on further light and knowledge.

Yep, talk about it. Multiple false accounts, is false witness against your neighbor. Willing to bear false witness in order to save the souls of the Mormons, must be going swimmingly. I can see the justification wheels now... "I must lie in order to get the Mormons to follow the true Jesus, so they can learn about not lying".

When stories first started coming out, after gay marriage was constitutionally legalized across the U.S., of bakers, florists and photographers refusing to participate in them, based on their sincerely held religious beliefs (yes, that's Religious Freedom Restoration Act language), many gave the advice, "Just bake the stupid cake." Even some well-meaning conservatives said this, perhaps believing this would be a silly, symbolic fight of little import. Did it not dawn on us that we were giving up our freedom of religion, speech and association with this cave-in? Here's the update:  https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/04/why-jack-phillips-matters/

The liberal idea of an anti-utopia is well-presented in The Handmaid's Tale. Abortions and lesbianism are horrific crimes. Less competent men exercise total control over much smarter women. Religious hypocrisy literally runs the country. Old, barren spinsters take out their repressed spirituality on young, vibrant women. If you want to see such a world you need only tune in to Hulu.
The conservative anti-utopia would be one in which abortions were available on demand--perhaps even funded by the state. Children could go to government or school representatives to obtain said abortions, or simply to seek confidential counseling without parental approval. Gay marriage would be a basic human right, and opponents would be ostracized, if not prosecuted. Young, telegenic, less-competent religious leaders would garner large crowds, much to the chagrin of the more seasoned, devout elders. If you want to see such a world you need only open your eyes.

    Thanks!
When I mean "majority" I mean that religion has been saturated into our culture to the point where nonreligious people are ostracized and harshly judged. Just by looking around you, you can see "under god" in the pledge or "faith in god" on our coins.
I mean, nonreligious parents often lose custody battles because they are seen to have a "lack of ethics" (Source: https://www2.law.ucla.edu/volokh/custody.pdf)
I'd argue nonreligious people are more discriminated against than religious people. Atheists in 13 countries today can still be killed just for professing their beliefs. Where have religious people been discriminated against in this way? (Source: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/atheists-discrimination_n_4413593)

    BYU vs Harvard?
    Easy answer:  Return on Investment
It's like buying a Ferrari vs a Honda
    - if your objective is to go from A to B, a Honda will get you there as reliably as a Ferrari and you'll get a lot more for your money.
    - if your objective is to race from A to B, your Ferrari will get you there faster than a Honda and dig a big hole in your pocket.
    - if your objective is to get a good education among people of a specific religious practice, your Honda is the best place for that.
    - if your objective is to show off to or gain erudite fraternity friends, your Ferrari will have the most influential people if you can get them to let you into their club.
    etc. etc.
Before you choose a university - any post high-school education - you first have to know WHY you need college and pick the college that achieves that purpose that provides the biggest return on your investment.  A trade school or a direct apprenticeship might just be a better place where you can achieve that purpose.

I did not say our cops, I said enforcers. I am referring to the bureaucrats that "run the show." The so called leaders of our cities and states have become empowered by this pandemic. They need to be reigned in before it is too late. The police are not being allowed to think for themselves in a lot of ways. Another reason that we should have more sheriffs that are directly selected by the people.

Well...er...uh...:::cough::: Politifact is a left-wing website. It is routinely labeled as such--yes, but conservative media...and, of course, its victims. The site will occasionally call out liberal errors, but in its subject choices and interpretation methods it leans left. In one of the more humorous cases, according to Newsmax, Politifact said Senator Cruz had lied when he said Iran had a holiday celebrating American deaths (can't remember if Cruz said it was rooted in the hostage crisis of the late 1970s, or some event afterwards). In context, Cruz was engaging in hyperbole and was humorously pointing out that Iran could not be trust. Politifact, with straightened face, and utmost seriousness, suggested that Cruz had lied--that no such holiday existed.  I guess they showed him.

Hold on here - most of these are lies someone attributed to Trump - with the exception of Obama was not born in the USA.  But lets review the others.
Has Trump shown his tax returns? - it is not a lie nor is it illegal to not make tax returns public.  Why on earth do you think otherwise???
Did he throw Hillary in jail yet? - Where did he say he would.  He has said that she should be investigated and if guilty should be prosecuted.
Is global warming a Chinese conspiracy?  Where did he say that???  BTW - are any other planets in our solar system experiencing global warming?  I am aware that Trump claims that China is increasing their carbon foot print more than any other country and that if the USA complied to all restrictions - it would make not difference just because of what China is doing - do you agree with Trump or not???
Is your healthcare much cheaper now that he has been elected?  This is a loaded question.  Healthcare is not the same as healthcare insurance or healthcare programs.  I do not think anyone today even knows what healthcare costs are - there are too many other costs involved.

I am not a fan of Trump.  With that in mind here is a little list lies by Obama and his administration:
#1. Fast and Furious - Not only did the Obama administration lie (the extent of the lie we still do not know how serious because the attorney general (Eric Holder) refused to turn over subpoenaed documents.   We would not have know of this lie if a US border security guard had not been killed because of the lie that Fast and Furious had been canceled.
#2. Benghazi - The Obama administration lied about the cause, who was involved and actions taken to keep our official ambassador safe.  Obama specifically lied when he said that those involved in the murder would be brought to justice.  When it was disclosed who was involved and their connections to the Obama paid intelligence operatives - nothing was done to bring them to justice - and no one was disciplined for the lapses in protecting our ambassador.
Please note that in both of the above cases of lies from the Obama administration that innocent American officials (citizens) lost their lives directly because of actions taken and then lied about and cover-up.
#3.  IRS holding up tax applications for conservative groups. The Obama administration lied about using the IRS to harass opposing political interests.  When it was proven the Obama administration lied with promises to correct the problem.  There was no disciplinary action taken towards anyone within the IRS.
#4 The Obama administration lied about Carter Page before the FISA court to obtain severance of the Trump campaign and then lied again saying that the FBI was not wiring taping a political opponent.
I personally do not know how to qualify how evil (bad) the intent of a lie is.  But I am concerned with how broadly the lies of the Obama administration has been defended not just within a particular partisan political party but with what has become labeled as the main stream media - which make such lies - at least in my mind - much more dangerous.

How exactly does it quantify the percentages when they don't actually fact check everything said?  How does it quantify when they cherry pick what statements they do check?  Also, if Obama and Trump each tell a half-truth / half-lie they will say Obama's statement is mostly true and Trump's is mostly false. Politifact? Really? C'mon man.
