Not sure what cake you guys are eating, but the only coffee cake I've ever seen (granted, made at home from a recipe) doesn't have any coffee in it.  My understanding is that the name is because you eat it with coffee (or not, as the case may be).  It's a cake with cinnamon / sugar topping / swirl - kinda like a cinnamon roll (but different consistency).

Children who are born in the covenant or sealed to parents remain so even if the sealing of the parents is later cancelled. A child cannot be sealed to only 1 parent. Children can be sealed to adopted parents. Also, a child may be sealed only to two parents, a husband and wife.
So, to answer your question fully, no. If they are sealed to the both of you then that sealing will remain for each of you unless you or your wife gave up their right to the initial sealing, and allowed their step-parent to be sealed to the child. This would have to be written permission that you would take to the temple, and it would then be verified...it is never done arbitrarily. The only exception to that is if the child is over 21 and endowed - then they have the choice who to be sealed to if their biological parents are no longer sealed.
(that being said, I would definitely counsel with a member of the Stake and/or Temple presidency before making such a decision)

Your sealing with your ex-wife may be cancelled, but the sealing of children to their parents remains unaffected, even if one leaves the church.

Notice how he refuses to engage the points being used?  His only tactic is an attempt at weaponizing compassion.
The simple fact is most of us have/are currently/or will at some point be put through hell on earth.... That is part of the test.
The correct answer is not to embrace sin, but to turn away from sin and embrace the Lord.

I am not sure why you have detracted again from transgender to gay.
This is your opinion and experience; that's fine. However some of us have different experiences. I know a long term, faithful, temple recommend holding, gay member. He is well respected and a huge contributor to my old ward. He lives the law of chastity, THE SAME as all the long term single members.  I assume he can not be the only one. Could it be that we just don't hear from these members as they don't have a public agenda to push?

I am having an issue at work as I am expected to teach about transexuals and their rights.  I have stated that I will not teach that tutorial but the college can provide someone to stand in on my behalf if its essential to the tutorial program. Apparently I can't do this.
I am also being challenged as I set an assignment which involved designing a fitness plan for a specific person and pointing out that there are basic physiological differences for males and females (and ages).  Yes I have pointed out I am just stating scientific FACTS.

The influence is decreasing because, sadly, there are many of the rising generation that do not believe in the traditions of their fathers. There is a reason the Prophet has asked us to "eat our vitamin pills". The reason the work is moving forward much more quickly is due to the adversary doing so on his side. He is very deceptive and pushes his agenda forward by calling evil good, and good evil. If the proposition is implemented as currently constructed it will be felt in the state for years to come, as it will only amplify the disintegration of the family and decrease the ability of many to feel the influence of the spirit.

The church handbook states that those interviewing members for recommends should not add any requirements to those that are already specified. In my opinion this example is one of unrighteous dominion.

Bishops and Stake Presidents at times do things according to their personal opinions while running the affairs of the ward/stake.  For the most part they are not worth battling over.  I gave up on my trunk or treat battle after years of trying to get the SP (s) to change their mind.  It is not that big of a deal.  Now if one tried to tell me I had to shave over a TR, that would be the type of battle I would have.

Im not one to disobey leadership, but I’m also not one to take the word of a stake president over the word of the entire church.

If he wants all activities ended, I would approach him with this and say “I’m just trying to do what the Prophets and Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints want me to do”
...maybe a bit less guilty-tripy... but you get the point
I am all for respect, but don’t bow to direction that isn’t supported higher up.
SIDE NOTE: That is IF all your saying is true. If you just misinterpreted his direction or are embellishing things, then maybe take a different direction. But either way I would approach him and let him know your concerns and share with him that link I posted above.

It won't.  Star Wars fans are not just upset about the SJWism.  They're massively upset with the way the original characters and concept were treated just to promote SJWism.  And there's no saving Star Wars to bring back those original characters no matter what JJ Abrams does.
Solo did not tank because of Solo.  Solo tanked because of TLJ and the way Star Wars folks like Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson called the fans bigots for not liking it.  It put more salt in the wound when they promoted Lando as pansexual.  So it has become a War... Episode 9 is now billed Revenge of the Fandom.  So, let's see who wins.
Captain Marvel is probably going to tank.  Why?  Because of this --v-- .  Superhero movies are still getting most of their money from men.  You don't get to call the lot of them as predators and get away with it.
